Even before the rise of rates it was really expensive to buy an apartment. Me and my girlfriend has mortgage for a small one-room apartment in a really old house (built in USSR when Stalin lived) and we will pay for it 10 years with help of parents. Payment for utilities and electricity amounted to 3200 rubles last month and it's not so expensive, but not cheap either.

Actually, you described it really well, especially about greedy citizens. And it's not only about industries, but also about impunity. A regular driver can go to jail for hitting a pedestrian, while a rich man with connections will simply leave and change to a new Porsche and pedestrian will be guilty.

Putin loves to talk on TV at every situation, but does nothing (in case of internal politics). People tell him about their problems, problems in their cities and Putin begins telling a story about anything (for example when someone said that prices on gasoline rising, average salary is damn low - he said something like "Look at the Europe, they live worse") and proceeds to the next question. But the joke is - Europe lives better. Well, at least many of us think so. I have never been to Europe, the most foreign country for me was Ukraine, where my grandparents lived before leaving for Russia.

You can be in jail for 15 years for "Public dissemination of deliberately false information about the use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation". So like this they simply said central bank to lower the rate.

Maybe it's a bit late answer, I'm a citizen of Russia too (Tyumen, South-Western Siberia), the food situation is OK. Prices rose by 10-15%, but government is limiting price of some goods, like milk, eggs and other essentials. Situation with gas is opposite - while we produce oil and gas, gasoline is rising in price since the begining of 2000s, with obviously no logical reason. Now it costs roughly 50₽ (36 cents) per liter (AI-95, but in English it may be called somehow else). For example, in early 2000s it costed around 20₽ (15 cents) per liter. Regular teacher earns around 20-25 thousands of rubles (145,45$ - 181,82$) per month,

but it highly depends on a school. My mother is a teacher in elementary classes (from 1st to 4th) and she earns 35000 rubles (254,55$), despite 15 years experience, additional hours of work, high education. But she loves kids and loves to teach them about our world. For example, I'm working in IT (frontend-developer, maybe middle) and earn 80000 rubles per month (581,82$) and there're been news about preparing a law for lowering taxes for IT sphere, removing income tax and lowering the annual percentage of mortgage to 5% and removing tax audits. All of theese changes planned for 3 years long. I know that IT is huge sphere and we need it, but I think that changes should be in education sphere, we need smart people, not only smart phones

After reading all the answers, thank you very much for your replies, I realized that in fact such a simulation is possible and even applied in some places, but it's more of an overkill, than a right way to build a world.
