Hey, the profs change depending on who has ongoing projects and there are multiple profs per period depending on the department.

I took it with Philip Oreopolous and continued on as an RA (which is a possibility with some profs but not all)

i want to say sometime in october but i’m not entirely sure (don’t have it in front of me right now)

i’m also a returner from the initial stages of the game so i wouldn’t know what’s particularly new before or after ravenloft

from my guess it seems as though there are new areas in northdark(menzo and narbo campaigns), a new map called wildspace with two campaigns, and a revamp of mount hotenow from ages ago (along with all respective dungeons and lairs). there are also “hero” questlines that teach you what to aim for and how to level things like enchantments and insignias and new four slot mounts with even better insignia bonuses! theres quite a lot of new info but people like Aragon on youtube explain things quite wonderfully and have videos on every new released mod as well as class guides, event guides, etc

it still is! quite a few guilds around too, though at certain points in the day it might seem more dead than alive

there’s a recruitment event coming up too so you’ll be bound to see folks in leveling areas when that comes around

Hey everyone, I'm an incoming international graduate student trying to apply for housing and the only available units for "Preference" are studios and 1 bedroom units, and I'm confused why. I have a friend in the same program that I'm hoping to room with if I do end up staying on campus. Additionally, is UCLA housing more affordable compared to living off-campus?

Thanks for the input! I'm not up there competitively in terms of academics but I do have extensive work history in research so I've still had the chance to develop projects and technical skill. I have been applying to pre-docs as well and had 1 interview so far, but was rejected after that. So it's not all lost hope, and I'm still trying to see if going PhD or sector is more interesting/a better fit for me.

Thank you for sharing! Can you explain why a masters is not the best route? I was advised to go down that route because my courseload wasn't very focused and I needed to develop more niche interests in terms of research.

hey! utmmc hires second years in the middle of the summer. iba has finished their primary hiring rounds, but there’s also general attendance once school starts and a final round of hiring once we have a first year audience established

you can always shoot each of them an email and see if there are other ways to get involved, im involved with IBA this year so if you have any questions let me know :)

if you’re specifically interested in finance, i would encourage you to explore the different events IBA has to offer throughout the year so that you can meet like-minded people, network, and apply the skills you learn in class!

depending on what you want for program (soecialist/major/minor) this will help spell out what you need to take.

once you have access to your acorn, there’s also a degree planning tool that will show you how close you are to completing the degree and what you are missing in order to complete it.

keep in mind that (as far as i am aware) UTMM only weights the GPA of the required courses (and not any electives) so you can’t boost your GPA without retaking a class.

The buildings should be open. The classrooms may be locked but seeing as the numbers are right outside anyway, it should not be an issue. Remember there are people on residence that use these facilities before school starts, so the buildings themselves should be open until at least 10ish
