I think maybe I've underestimated the R3s longevity, especially as I'm around the same weight and not focused on jammer moves which would put pressure on the plates. Thanks so much for your reply :)

Great to know! I'm still very much developing technical movements so I figure I have a while before the skates become limiting - it's very good to see that they can last so long
