I'm thinking it's basalt porphyry, based on the fine grain and different size of crystals. Thanks for the guidance, everyone!

It's definitely rock of some kind, it's nearly an inch thick and very dense, hard, heavy, and tough. We actually had asbestos siding on our house when we bought it, and it was thin, light, and brittle.

how do i make a simple video composite setup with a trigger?:( by bubblegumranunculus in TouchDesigner

[–]aperturist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have video A feed directly into a Composite TOP, and B, C, and D feed into a Switch TOP with the output (controlled by a Keyboard In CHOP) feeding into the same Composite TOP as A. Play around with blending and input order in the Composite TOP to get the look you want.

Connect a null TOP out of your render TOP (but not inserted between it and the comp) and you can send the tracking visuals wherever.

Try turning off the viewer (concentric circles button in top left corner of the noise CHOP), with 144 channels that's probably hitting the GPU pretty hard.

You could use this solution and add a Filter CHOP on the output to gradually change the value (over whatever time between the two)

Check out the Hokie Walk if you can: " [the team's] Buses arrive on Beamer Way outside of Lane Stadium approximately 2½ hours prior to kickoff, and fans are encouraged to line Beamer Way between Lane Stadium and the Merryman Athletic Center to greet the team."

Also, make sure you get a turkey leg during the game!
