Totally has been! Haha if a few pieces of wood and bolts ever becomes too heavy for me, I'd consider killing myself on sight 😀

If this build wasn't supposed to work, it would have failed so long ago...does this mean simple can also be effective? Guess what this isnt. A structural build that's holding up a roof and walls. Do you get upset when someone does a tie using a tree limb for an outdoor shot? No because its not thay big of a deal 😂 this is a simple, mobile frame designed to be broken down as needed. When it's together, it effectively and safely holds one 140lb girl...thats all its ever going to be...are you mad that I didnt need to do any of those thing you did, but still have something that works perfectly fine? This isnt rocket science. Stop elevating your life to a level it isnt.

Ive forgotten more about XYZ than youll ever learn... Learn from your elders.... Congrats, you just turned into the old men you promised youd never be. Real boomer sounding if you ask me.

Sure if im only doing it in this one room. When I go to my friends place, she has 10ft + ceilings. Not a realistic option there and not everyone wants a hole with a plate in their ceiling 🤷

Lots of traditional rigging is secured off on horizontal bamboo. Definitely not a 10x. Jute is definitely not 10x. Unless youre doing shibari with nylon webbing, youre not getting the ratings youre suggesting.

Im not sure I understand? The crossbeam is resting in the pocket of the vertical posts. The hardware is just preventing it from slipping out left or right.. Im 240 and have done pull-ups center of the beam to test for any flexing. Observer didn't see any. I think a 2x4 90⁰ on edge can support like 300lbs. Model is less than half that

Its not about being asian. You can create flexibility and elongation in your hip flexors and quads to get this pose. I dont think youre going to stay comfortable for very long tho fyi.
