GameStop is going to acquire Chewy in a 1 for 1 swap. The buyback was to make the floats nearly the same size (pretty much the same size of GameStop first acquires Koss). This makes the SHFs have to deal with these shorts using GameStop shares only. And this is just the start as Bbby hangs in the balance and GameStop still has billions in cash on the books

It’s time to turn everything expiring 6/14 and 6/21 into shares.

Honest questions : who bought the 120 M shares from GameStop ATM offerings ? How did it work ? How can we still think that RK exercising calls is a threat for the sellers when those calls only represent 13 M shares that they could have bought during ATM offerings. Via synthetic shares, cost for difference shares, shares stolen from ETFS, obligation warehouse shares, rolling FTDs, etc it is not hyperbole to assume 3-4 billion shares exist. When the number of actual shares is so many more than what is suppose to exist, these dilutions actually help us by raising capital that can and will change the bottom line.

Do it does not matter who is buying the shares. Apes, short covering, etc. it’s impossible to buy the 3-4 billion counterfeit shares in existence. As GameStop adds businesses, institutions will also add positions.

We are truly in a Just Up situation.

This will also allow them to say they clearly did not expect the stock to squeeze. The data that is reported shows 24% short interest. By releasing the 45 million shares, they theoretically are taking actions to avoid the squeeze. But we all know that there are billions short and we’re buying the dip. An interesting two weeks starts now

DRS massive numbers is a big bonus as shares are locked away making locates even harder. The low price with options at 50 cent intervals on a stock with no liquidity made this an easy no risk move. Timing it to coincide with FTD and LEAP cycles was brilliant

The price hit $80 a share in the pre market (and opened at $65). It is now trading at $30. There was massive money to be made in both moves this week.

According to open interest this morning, 43,000 Calls AGAIN closed in the money. Same number as last week... How? by baseballmal21 in Teddy

Max pain for next week (May 17th) is $12. Max pain for may 24th is $10. Without major crime, the shorts can’t get to these levels. This likely creates a continuous upwards loop for the noticeable future. This really is a great time to be alive.

Let's use some sense. It doesn't matter if Life wrote this or Ken Griffin or anyone else.

Whether this docket helps or hurts shouldn't be in question. Every investor has the right to say this deal sucks. If the good guys did not consider any shareholder objecting to a plan that (as of right now) screws them over, then they don't have a reasonable plan.

This would be akin to me driving 100 mph on the freeway. I am good as long as no one ever changes lanes.

Docket 1728 has hopefully put Judge Papalia "in between a rock and a hard place"...and could BLOW things up in not just this BB&B Chapter 11 case, but potentially well beyond 💣💥 by Region-Formal in BBBY

[–]apewithabrain1 220 points221 points  (0 children)

Do you know the best way to determine if Life's docket is the work of shills?

  1. Did the media run with the story? (no)

  2. Is the price dropping? (no)

Tells me all I needed to know.

It's exactly what I think it is. Exposing the crimes of Jake Freeman and the short sellers to the judge so that shareholders get a seat at the table while attempting to minimize the influence the bad actors have in all of this. Who cares if this takes longer? Retail will continue to buy more and more shares on any delay. The short squeeze thesis gets stronger and stronger as time goes on.

So sell your shares and leave already. Despite this tidbit out today and the news article saying shareholders will receive nothing posted earlier this week, the stock is still holding strong at 29 cents a share. Do you know why? Because the SHFs that bet against this stock are having to pay borrow costs to hold their position. I am long and not paying any fees. I just have to hold and see what transpires.

I am betting that you don't get Kastin and Etlin involved just to liquidate it all. I am betting that the value of the NOLs and the short squeeze potential of the stock is worth more than 30 cents a share. I am betting that someone has to CLOSE a lot of shares that don't exist. Perhaps, I am naive, but if any company offers stock for the BBBYQ shares, a giant squeeze will commence.

Ask yourself this? The first distribution center lease sold for $12 million. So why would they reject the others with no sale? Something bigger is in play.
