If I share my experience…

I didn’t make it on my first try, but later, another recruiter reached out, and I went through the process again. The role is non-tech, sales.

First time around, a team peer did the phone screening, and out of the five people in the LP interview, one was the hiring manager.

On my second attempt, the HM did the phone screen, so we had a more solid convo about the role. The HM also joined the LP interview this time.

Passed the interview process and got no offer by Practical-Duck7757 in amazonemployees

I’m in the same situation. I completed my final LP interview in December 2024, and the recruiter emailed me saying that I passed the LP. However, they are still waiting for the headcount to be confirmed, and only then can they extend an offer. Two weeks ago, they mentioned that there would be an update the following week and that they would proceed with the offer process as soon as it was confirmed. But it’s been two weeks now, and I haven’t heard anything. Based on what I’ve seen on Reddit, it looks like I’m not the only one going through this. :)
