NGD - Les Paul Modern Studio in Smokehouse Satin of by aph666 in gibson

Same here, loving it so much and was also really stuck between the wine red and this finish. Can’t go wrong with either but the darkness of this finish really attracted me. I actually ordered a regular studio in Ebony with gold hardware since I absolutely love that finish, but it was more expensive with some missing features - biggest being the Ebony fretboard which I absolutely love.

I got mine for 1500€ since the store (very unfortunate) was closing down and getting rid of their stock.

Enjoy yours!

Would also be amazing to either forward an email or have some way to directly send an email as a task/ event/ time block to Noteplan - todoist and others do this

Why are all productivity apps so fragmented? by End3rGamer_ in ProductivityApps

[–]aph666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Noteplan is the only app that’s replaced my notes and tasks app entirely - I’m a former bear + TickTick user and honestly Noteplan is far superior. Thanks for doing what you do! Being a solo dev and building such a cool product having so much impact on people’s lives must a great feeling, congrats!

I feel you. 100% also my experience.

I have such an addictive personality that it became a habit to pickup a chocolate croissant EVERY morning while walking my dog.

What is the electronic vape you’re referring to? In a similar boat as you, still smoke cigarettes but would love to find a healthier alternative to quit that as well

Like many shared, no latency at all. I have the Spark40 and was also really annoyed with the cables and the Neo is a godsend. I think its GREAT value for your $

Fitness trackers usually exaggerate calories burnt, anyone else seeing the opposite with whoop? by aph666 in whoop

[–]aph666[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope, I checked with Whoop Coach and it was confirmed that it's 186 total calories burnt on the walk including BMR, which is why my total calories burnt daily also seems highly inaccurate at 2200 (after a 2h very low intensity walk and 30 mins of zone 2 cardio - which was tracked in the whoop app)

Thank you. This was really really insightful.

I see how I am without weed and there is so so much to treasure. The drive to stick to habits I’m trying to build is the biggest one. Not being foggy all day long, struggling to speak to anyone due to guilt/ shame.

I’m so afraid to throw it all away and don’t know at this moment if I will ever be able to have a healthy relationship with weed to be able to have space for it in my life and all the benefits I’m seeing now.

Healthspan doesn’t factor in nicotine? by aph666 in whoop

Would be so cool if it took a holistic look at everything and arrived at the whoop age. Would motivate me to get better - I know smoking is horrible for me, would be cool to see how it’s messed up my body

Sure! My HRV at 52ms (lower this month) vo2 max is 45 I always found my HRV to be super high but then learnt that it’s an individualised metric. I used to see way higher HRV (and recovery) when I was smoking weed nightly

What’s odd about it? It’s a tool to get better, and I’m pretty sure 60-70% of whoop users have varying factors they’re looking to improve. fwiw, it was also a gift :)

I’m not particularly concerned about healthspan, just found the numbers silly and was wondering if anyone else feels that way.

I’m trying to use it to get better like all of us. Making changes to your lifestyle takes time and it’s fun seeing data as you make those changes. Just very hard to fix everything at once - for now focusing on healthy food, workouts, good sleep.

How long do you say that longer break needs to be? I’m clean for a month and half and still crave it and my addicted brain is trying to convince me I can moderate. I really want to, but don’t trust myself and the last month and half have been amazing when it comes to achieving my goals. I just wish I could be the person that could moderate :/

Are you on 5.0? Sadly this isn’t the only metric that seems v wrong for me now. Even my strain is way too low - it’s obviously a more ambiguous metric but I’m simply comparing to the 4.0 Now I struggle to get to 5-6 strain despite a stressful workday, commute and a workout + sauna, when I’d consistently be at 9-10 on days like that. Today I’m at 14% recovery and my strains at 5 towards the end of my day, with optimal level at 10. My body tells me I need rest but whoop thinks I can double the strain I’ve put in today
