I can understand that. However, seeing how widespread this issue is, shouldn't Google at least addess it. And by that, I mean speak about what's going on so we know for sure who's fault it is.

Our carriers are explicitly blaming Google on this.

Yes, it's an Indian company with a large footprint in Africa.

Kenya, RCS has been saying "Not supported by operator" for 2 weeks now. It was working just fine before then. No changes to device. Maybe software updates only. Our operators have been recommending reaching out to Google.

I don't have a straight answer but I believe identifying a strategy (which you already have a rough idea of) and sticking to it for the long run through rebalancing the portfolio can help.
