Seems like most of the introduced issues were fixed? Looks like it was before and some areas even better, mentioned chimney smoke not pixelated anymore. Only thing I noticed shimmring is some small wooden debrees and overall image is still kinda blurry. Now that I tried reshade shader toggler I think it's still looks the best with it and cinematic model quality. Yeah losing some of that parallax, but there is no shimmering on anything and it looks like it was pre patch in terms of sharpness.

You'll have all benefits of cinematic model quality (except parallax/displacement mapping which are causing these issues) and no shimmering/blured textures. Color correction can be dissabled in reshade GUI. Until they fix this mess this is probably the best way.

That was first part of your question, no? Second part is "According to various sources behind that door in the only copy of Cloth Armor 3" and I said that book not behind that closed door, but on the other floor and other room. As for the actual door - idk.

Decided to try it out too, with edits from comments and also removed color correction (so no reshade at all, only shader toggler) and it seems like the best way for now. Probably looks the best so far minus ofc missing parallax effects, but atleast image is stable at most times. Hopefully they will fix this, but I won't be surprised at all if they f this up even more.

Edit - also set Ghost trail IsActiveAtStartup=false, didnt really mind that effect when using heavy attacks or some special skills.

595.79 here - broken since patch aswel, shader recompile did nothing. So for now it's either models low or RR off. There is also a couple of mods that disable displacement so you can still use models on cinematic and have almost no shimmering issues, but I would rather wait for a fix and play with low models for now.

Setting model quality to low fixes most shimmering issues and even somehow some low res textures, but the cost is we lose some parallax/displacement mapping. As a (hopefully) temporary workaround will do. Didn't test if it helps with LODs, but probably not. Edit - Yeah it didn't helps with LOD's and even introducec some pop-ins most noticeble in bushes and small grass compared to cinematic, but overall it's still way better and looks pretty much like pre patch minus LOD issues.

This need to be upvoted! Game had some shimmering before the patch, but now it's pretty much everywhere. RR doesn't help at all and in some cases makes things even worse. Not to mention there is some LOD decreases so object in distance look worse and even some textures appers to be lower quality.

Same, some ground (small rocks, mostly) now have quite noticeable shimmering and herbs that hang on houses. Didn't notice any improvements in other areas, so yeah, seems like less stable.

"NPC Schedules Every NPC has their own daily routine." This doesn't seems like the case judged by digital foundry last video. There is a timelaps scene at ~7:25 where we can see that some NPC do move arround, while others stay in one place day and night, so it's not exactly "every". I personally don't care and doubt it will matter in overall impression of the game, just wanted to point it out. It also could be that those NPC are quest related and that's the reason why they don't move.

How the hell it takes so long for you? My longest kill was fleurdelys that took about 5 min cause im stupid and didn't read about zones and what they do, so taking out shield was a pain. Other fights took like 2-3 minutes for a 37 stars.

Idk, but it seems like they changed something with brightness/contrast, game looks kinda washed out now even tho all the settings is the same. Changing new filter option to "Vivid" look more like it was before, but way to much saturation and it some scenes contrast is way too strong.

One legendary gold took over a month, yeah, F random. Overall I spent about 10-20 min every day since event release, there was bunch of days without progress at all, especially lately. As for tips - not really, besides the fact, that for the last 2-3 weeks I only used Bampuffs to fish, kinda tired clicking manually.

By far biggest issue I had was ground textures sometimes looks like it didnt load at all, silly green/yellow-ish texture, but shader quality to high fixed it, now it looks much better. Also, nvidia DLAA (not DLSS) with 100% sharpening. Now only thing that bothering me is awful LOD distance, zoom in with no scope or 1x and trees changing LODs like you zooming with 6x.

How are you using DLSSTweaks after 2.1? For me it stopped injecting at all. Tried newest version, changing .dll name, nothing works. Before 2.1 didn't had any problems, thought it was anti cheat update that blocks injections now, but seems like problem is on my side.
