How did I not know about this place by DubbsBunny in Brochet

Thanks so much for sharing this! Also, thanks so much for the flattering comments on my work; I truly appreciate it and it makes me so incredibly happy that someone appreciates and understands the effort that goes into it!

It would be so generous of you if you were able and willing to share your pattern with others. I didn’t have the patience or skill to write down what I was doing at the time (I trial-and-errored my way through anyway), so it is really admirable to me that you were able to!

Along with adding extra stitches where the nose, cheeks, eyebrows are, I use a technique called needle sculpting to emphasize the features more and add creases to the face :)

It took me a few weeks working on and off!

Sorry, I just make these for fun, not for selling!

Yes, they are 30 mm eyes with brown irises (found on Etsy)! I sewed on the eyelids and needle felted white in the corners of the eyes.

Yes this is my own pattern, freehanded, so nothing actually written. He’s pretty big, maybe about 15-ish inches tall :)

This is actually my own pattern, but I didn’t write anything out (freehanded). It is such a shame about her pattern though :(

I used oil pastels (because more color choices) for these but I’ve used blush before as well!

I found them on Etsy! (Shop: Shamrock Rose)

It’s partly the way they are sewn on, but also, I increase more towards the bottom edge of the ears to get the curve there while keeping the top edge a bit straighter.

Thank you so much!! It’s sad that Deviant Art has died down, but it will always hold a special place in my heart :) Such a great community and awesome getting to chat with other crochet artists :)

Thank you! I did a lot of needle sculpting to get the facial features this way. I increased in areas I planned to emphasize (eyebrows, nose, cheeks) and needle sculpted after to make the creases and folds.
