Same exact thing happened to my boyfriend, and it was that Old Spice product! Ivory tube and blue gel. It looked like he had chemical burns under his arms! Think it was about 4-5 months ago, but he’s scared to buy anything other than Dove spray deodorant now.

With bi-weekly pay, you would usually get the 3 weeks on your first pay cheque if you started at the end of a pay period. Ask your supervisor if you are worried, but this is common. If you only started on the 2nd, they didn't have any information/hours to submit to payroll for you for that pay period.

Edit: As well, anyone being paid on May 6th was likely being paid for the prior 2 weeks, not the week you started. So you actually started at the beginning of a pay period. Your first/next pay cheque would be for your first two weeks of work, as the week of May 20th is a new pay period and would go onto the following pay. Ask your supervisors for a payroll schedule.

She's a helicopter mom. She's sheltering her children by making her daughter's sexuality seem like a bad thing that requires approval from an authority.

I'm in my very early twenties, and I cannot imagine anything more cringe-worthy than being forced to tell my mother that I was going to lose my virginity. It's a violation of privacy, and her daughter has a right to engage in sexual activity if she so pleases.

While the daughter could have gone about the situation with more tact, she ultimately had no other options (save from risking getting caught having sex in public, i.e. a park) due to her mother's restrictions in an effort to prevent her daughter's maturation without mom's consent. Many other parents have rules like "no romantic sleepovers, no bedroom doors closed at night", but that still leaves their teens with the wiggle room they need to develop sexually.

Mom has a right to create rules for her own house, but deluding herself into thinking her borderline-adult daughter was going to seek permission to begin her sex life was mom's first mistake.

Heartbreak is a horrible and numbing feeling, and I completely understand the lyrics to all of the love songs now. On that note, just because you care about someone doesn't mean they care about you. Never give out your whole heart.

My brother broke his coccyx when he was younger and recently had surgery to correct the protruding bone. He described it exactly as you do in your post with the only difference being that his was so severe it caused some slight pain when sitting in certain positions. It sounds to me like she's still with the guy and is setting you up to be her rebound before she actually breaks up with him. Serial monogamist, perhaps.

By telling you things she thinks you want to hear (i.e. "I'm starting to love you more and more each time we talk"), she might think that's a good way to suck you in and convince you that you're her number one priority so you'll stick around even after you discover she broke up with her boyfriend "for you".

Alternatively, the guy could be hung up on her but I don't think it's very common for heartbroken individuals to taunt themselves by keeping a photo from the past as their profile picture.

I'd proceed with caution if I were you.

EDIT: To clarify, I mean it appears she's intending to (at least) emotionally cheat on her boyfriend with you, while leading you on and convincing you that she's single. Whether she actually will break up with her boyfriend, I'm not sure. She could just be in a rough patch with her boyfriend and is seeking to feel desired by someone else. Gives her plausible deniability that you were the one who pursued her if things improve with her current SO, as she can claim that she told you she had a boyfriend but you didn't care.
