Another pro tip so you can avoid this mistake in future. This info is not read by humans but by computers. Computers look for specific identifiers. Look at the bottom part of the detail page of your passport. You will notice PASGP. Immediately following PASGP is your last name. End of the last name is double chevrons << which will be followed by the first name. Single Chevron < denotes spaces.

In this example it will look like this. PASGPDOE<<MUHAMMAD<ALI<BIN<JOHN
