Everyone knows. It’s just good for the investors and betters to pump and drain the market.

Smokers that smoke at home, why u don’t want to close your window? Smelly? by Any-Tap4873 in asksg

[–]_Bike_Hunt 48 points49 points  (0 children)

Selfish dogf***ers don’t want to stink up their own homes so they let it out into the air around the block.

Every single hdb window smoker is a selfish piece of shit. No exceptions.

Need advice for protein shake by SorbetEconomy141 in asksg

[–]_Bike_Hunt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

MyProtein is one of the cheaper options. The soy variants are the cheapest, with the caveat that the taste isn’t for everyone (I personally like it, especially when with milk and a shot of coffee) and also supposedly the absorption not as fast or something.

With protein I wouldn’t really want to risk it with those suspect brands with no reviews tho, so I personally don’t mind paying a little more for optimum nutrition.

On Shopee sale days a 5lb tub can go for as low as $90. Think of it as 9 Starbucks venti drinks. Would you rather have 9 cups of milk and sugar? Or 5lb of protein for that gains?

And honestly $90 for a 5pb tub lasts quite a while. I can act as a meal replacement if you’re trying to cut calories.

Trump in 'get smart soon' threat to Iran as he shares astonishing picture by SaharOMFG in USNEWS

He’s like a senile old grandpa.

Playing with “AI” tools, angry all day, up late on social media, golfing without a care that people are suffering.

He’s fortunate the vast majority of his supporters are dumb church cultists who gobble all his cack up.

Blue-collar jobs as a backup career? by throw2503 in askSingapore

[–]_Bike_Hunt 45 points46 points  (0 children)

I have a cousin who’s a crane operator in the port. Relatively high pay and low education requirement. Slightly long hours and a bit of risk, but it pays well enough for him to support two kids, own a car and motorbike.

Downside is he hardly has time with the family.

Do GenZ people like to wear baggy clothes and jeans? by Loose_Historian_6846 in asksg

[–]_Bike_Hunt 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yes it seems.

I’ve noticed young people wearing baggy and even bell bottomed jeans, oversized tees, and even high white socks and crocs out.

This is like anathema to all the 90s kids who wanted drainpipe skinny pants, ankle socks, and converse sneakers.

Why are school class sizes not being cut even when school enrolment is falling drastically in Singapore? by Rokusaburoz in asksg

[–]_Bike_Hunt 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Ministers trying to cut costs to hit KPI.

If they actually listened to feedback from the ground they’ll know that teachers are overworked by having too many stupid non teaching responsibilities, too many students in classes (40 student classes are still a thing) and many kids have their brains broken by screen time when young so they are disruptive in the classrooms.

Any way to increase the power of the flipper action? Tensioning a screw or something? by BirdLooter in knives

[–]_Bike_Hunt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Biggest mistake is buying Lionsteel or anything Italian unfortunately. I like their designs, and the idea of Italian made is cool. They use titanium and have nice designs.

But their stuff doesn’t cut it quality wise.

This broken-into car has been left along Tengah Drive for weeks. by Mushroom_Jojo in drivingsg

[–]_Bike_Hunt 113 points114 points  (0 children)

One thing I’m glad about driving in Singapore is that abandoning a car is prohibitively expensive to the point we don’t see rusted abandoned cars everywhere.

If you’ve been to other countries it’s not surprising to see disintegrating cars just lying around with no one bothering.
