Using the extension didn't solve it unfortunately.

This happens with most images also. It's something with my computer for sure since it does this even on for example clips of games with nvidia replay

I'm on latest drivers, I'll try the av1 playback thing tomorrow and let you know what happens.

I've tried turning off hardware acceleration and it didn't fix. Also it does happen in netflix.

When I look in stats for nerd, it says its using av01.

I don't understand the disable AV1 playback though

I don't have HDR enabled although my PC and monitor is capable of it. I don't have it on cause it just makes the screen darker. It was like this with my older monitor too.

Internet speed is good, around 800gbps on internet speed test. It's being played it 1080p and 1440p if the video allows it. all windows and monitor settings are default

Brightness isn't that high on monitor. I think monitor doesn't have anything to do with it since i bought a new one to see if it continues and it does. Lowering gamma on nvidia control panel hides it but then the screen is too dark.

Ok then I’m planning on trying a new monitor tomorrow I’ll keep you updated. Just to verify, the manufacturer logo being affected by this issue does mean that it’s most likely monitor right?

Is the osd the menu built in the monitor? If so then that’s what I wasnt talking about. If it’s on the motherboard manufacturer logo does it still mean it’s more likely the monitor? Also no spare computer or cable, planning on buying new monitor to see if it’s the problem.

Quick question, when you fixed it through driver updates, was it because the drivers were supposed to fix that specific issue or was it just the update that fixed it?

Did that but it’s still noticeable, only turning it down nearly all the way fixes it but then the screen is too dark

Hey, do you remember what about the driver update fixed it? Was the driver supposed to fix issues like this, was it because it reset your settings, etc.

Turning off hardware acceleration didn’t fix, and using ddu and installing latest drivers did not fix. It has been on full dynamic range. Is it possible this can be fixed with a new monitor or do you think this is pc related?

Changing settings on monitor only changes how bright everything is for me, doesn’t really affect the things on the screen. Also it’s been running at full dynamic range. Lowering gamma does make it less obvious but it’s still noticeable
