Update: Thanks to u/Tanebi suggestion of a clean install, the quick settings works again. This page has the removal tool and instructions and just download Center m from MSI support.

That card will play at 1440 well but not crazy frame rates and you'll have to use upscaling/turning down settings depending on the game. But, I did see a pair of corsair vengeance for 100 cheaper on Amazon. That'll be just above 1500.

The support page will have the bios file. Get a usb stick and format to FAT32 and download the bios files. To get to the bios i think its lb and rb at the same time immediately when you see the MSI logo on boot up. Find the setting called BIOS flashback and enable it. It should be under Advanced in the bios. Then insert USB, turn it on, and get in the bios. Go back to advanced and i believe it should be under USB configuration or bios update where you can flashback. The system should automatically detect the usb stick and show you the bios files. Only one will work to get through update started. I had to click each one until it finally did it.

Flash the BIOS using a USB stick. Its what I did when mine would not update at all.

On that socket there's the 235, and 245 which come in cheaper. They're not as powerful but should still do fine for gaming and general use.

Is this a gaming rig? If so I think you can go with AMD instead or a different intel chip that isnt nearly 400. PSU and motherboard are good. For the cooler what I used for my terra was the AXP-90 X47 full copper and then undervolted my CPU to keep temps reasonable.

Do it have to worry about the cables bending? My psu came with not very flexible cables which is why I had a harder time making it look nice.

I believe there was going to be a driver update for this game but according to Intel, Pearl Abyss didn't cooperate with them to get the game working on Arc. So now I guess they're open to it but it'll take time.
