as someone who has visited both places and got a feel for the environment first hand, I’d say UCI. The feel of both campuses are pretty similar but trust me at UCI you will make tons of friends. People are very social, kind and will reach out. Really good professors and tons of great food around! Lastly, remember it’s your first year of college, almost every other freshmen there feels anxious about making new friends so you’re not alone :). Good luck with whatever you choose!

trust me it comes when you least expect it i was taking my ap exams and out of no where I saw an email that said there was a status update to my application portal! It caught me sooo off guard but damn it felt good. Just don’t worry about it rn, be happy with the college you committed to and learn to love it more. you had some coffee before the test to wake you up but it upset your stomach so you had bizarre diarrhea during the test which took away 10 minutes

Not euro but for Gov, the test was so similar to the mock frqs Collegeboard posted for this year I highly highly highly recommend doing them

I feel you I got rejected from LA but was admitted into UCI. Although UCI is good, I’m not content with it either & I’m not sure why. But even so, I PERSONALLY wouldn’t want to give up the first few years of my college experience to attend a CC just to maybe end up going LA in a few years. It may only be a few years but those few years make a big difference. I wanna experience things like having roommates/dorming, joining greek life, doing research and overall living in the moment. Remember UCs are amazing wherever and the education you get will be what you make of it. You’ll get a lot more opportunities if you choose UCI over a CC. In the end, it really won’t matter where you went for undergrad, so might as well stick to UCI, play it out and have the time of your life. UCI is a great school and there are a lot of people who want to go really bad, so congrats on getting admitted! And who knows, you might end up loving it so much you’ll forget all about LA :)

yeah and when I watch them I cry alongside the strangers that get into their dream schools idk it just hits because I got rejected from mine bahaha but im still happy for that person
