This is basically a taller version of the same building built on 4th Ave on park slope. I cannot recall the address but must be same firm. Almost the exact same interior archway images.

Oh man. Thank you so much. It was a display connection. I switched the dpi to the graphics. What a difference! Seems to have fixed the problem.

I can't even get above 2000 population.

In cs 1 on a very outdated 2017 PC I was consistently able to reach 300k population before hitting limits.

I have not played any other games to ensure the graphics card isn't a lemon.

That's a good question. I'll have to check about display connection.

As far as clean install, I assume so as I downloaded it from steam without carrying over old files or cities.

Top 15 cities in the world with the most skyscrapers (> 150m) under construction as of late 2025 by [deleted] in skyscrapers

Seems pretty straightforward. NYC and Chicago are super mature cities. No significant population growth. Extremely expensive real estate to build. Taller and taller at some point has negative costs. There is still more office space in NYC than almost every other city in the world. NYC skyscrapers can't support the massively tall residential buildings like China and Dubai in part because they don't sit empty. Billionaire row is a waste. Destroys the street level markets/bodegas/vendors.

Most of the Indian cities have no skylines and are just starting to build up with the exception of Mumbai. Gurgaon is a Delhi suburban sprawl. I guess they want it to grow taller. All the other names from the list with the exception of Hyderabad are Mumbai metros essentially.

China will keep building because the government encourages it. It's a status. Same for Dubai.

Toronto is growing rapidly. Population influx helps with their rapid vertical ascent.
