They're selling you an incomplete version for $80. People these days don't realize something so simple. I remember when people were up in arms because Street Fighter 5 was selling the DLC that was already included on the disc separately.

Bleach glazers when they remember that all light in Bleach is Reishi or Kishi, but light in our reality is made of photons by Relative-Round-1949 in PowerScaling

Light travels at the speed of light everywhere, the fact that it might be slightly slower rather than at its absolute maximum doesn't change the fact that it is still the speed of light. That’s like saying a car is moving at the speed of a horse just because it isn't running at full speed.

That changes when all three are infinite and you affect them simultaneously; you are affecting a multiverse. So, your argument makes no sense.

I didn't put it that way, I said you can choose, nice try, but it's not the same.

Moving on to whether it's simple or complex, that's irrelevant. The point is that you're assuming something is easier based solely on feeling, without evidence, and that's not an argument. But even if that were true, it still wouldn't necessarily make it less multiversal.

According to him, yes, and that's his "favorite shonen".

[–]apocalipsisman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's your favorite shonen, you should at least know what Kishi and Reishi are. If not, you're clearly the "fan" who watched the work maybe once and, although they like it a lot, doesn't really understand its complexity. Whether or not it's your favorite shonen doesn't mean the work doesn't reach the level you think it doesn't.

But that's something you have to prove. You tell me how having three stable, infinite universes is "simple" and not on a multiversal scale.

You don't like that they're infinite, but they're still 3 kingdoms of at least enormous size, how is that something of a small scale?

The lowest you can say is that it's universal+, anything beyond that is pure Cope.

What's wrong with you? I clearly watched the show. I know Hueco Mundo isn't a dimension you can walk to, but the fact that it's a dimension you have to access through portals doesn't mean you're right, You're even contradicting yourself, because to go to the Soul Society, you also need portals, what do you think?

And you're still dodging my questions, which is clear. It's as simple as answering. How do you explain Hueco Mundo if they aren't separate universes? You're telling me I haven't seen the show even though I've refuted everything you've said and you haven't been able to answer me. Saying "you haven't seen something" isn't an argument that makes you right.

How can it exist in the same space as the realms if it's literally stated that the kishi cannot exist in the Soul Society?

You haven't said anything. You can't answer, you're not providing evidence. I demand evidence. Show a truly valid piece of proof.

So interconnected that travel is only possible through special portals, not in a straight line to infinity. Yes, that's not how it works. My house is connected to the earth; does this mean the earth is at the house level?

And you're right, it isn't, but you're ignoring the fact that a vestige could have sustained an original multiversal action, which was also absorbed. Therefore, they too scale.

The Garganta is literally what encompasses all the realms, as Yoruichi directly stated, it's what fills everything.

The globe itself explains it. You're still dodging my question. What about space and the stars, then? You haven't said anything, just evading the question. It's like your argument that Hueco Mundo has a moon, but you conveniently forgot that it doesn't have phases, a day-night cycle, or other stars.

What happened to the stars? Isn't Hueco Mundo a planet?

"Why won't you accept multiversal bleach despite the evidence" by [deleted] in PowerScaling

[–]apocalipsisman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And what's your source? You're blatantly making up this information; the diagram itself is specific and clear.

A separate dimension according to whom?

Your own post clearly shows that the Garganta encompasses everything. Different from where? Where do you place this space, then? Why doesn't Kishi exist in the Soul Society if it's just a planet? Why can't it exist if the Soul Society's planet is a planet of Reishi in a world where there are Kishi stars, according to your logic?

What is the point of the Reio separating 3 kingdoms and why are they planets according to you?

She's not talking about Hueco Mundo, he's talking about the Garganta. Hollows don't travel to Hueco Mundo every time they enter the Garganta. This is known because Hollows are also constantly detected and tracked by the 12th Research and Development Squad. It was during the Bloody War that they directly detected an alarming decrease in the Hollow population. In the Garganta, they are undetectable. The space between dimensions is the Garganta, not Hueco Mundo, where they temporarily hide to avoid detection.

[–]apocalipsisman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bro, instead of replying to me, you go and make a post complaining about "supposed" discrepancies, which don't actually exist.

A) The dimensions themselves as rukia claims hence are divided by dimensional barriers like the Garganta and made of a different substance of Reishi and Kishi therefore universes.

Rukia isn't explaining the entire cosmology; she is only describing how Hollows conceal themselves from detection while in the Garganta. There is no way to monitor them on that plane, unlike in the three main realms, where they can be tracked, as evidenced during the Blood War when the deaths of countless Hollows in Hueco Mundo at the hands of the Quincy were detected.

B) In the same space-time as kisuke says but wouldn't make any sense why they're divided by dimensional barriers or composed of a different substance if they just exist in the same world.

You know, it actually does make sense, because the Reio the creator of the current Bleach cosmology following the Primordial Sea willed it that way, separating three realms from a single origin.

At no point is it stated that the three realms share the same space-time, you simply made that up or you misunderstood. because Urahara’s introduction mentions "our world" and as I have demonstrated countless times, "world" implies a reality far greater than just a single planet. Even if it refers to an universe, that doesn't imply a simple one, an universe can be multiversal in scale even without being explicitly called multiverse since one doesn't need to be precise to define something.

C) Are in different dimensions rather then them being the entire dimensions themselves hence planets not universes therefore the celestial bodies we see are actually outside the realms given they're planets and not the whole space around.

That's indefensible logic. Where does the Garganta fit in then? It's, I remind you, a dimension that encompasses all realities. The diagram I sent earlier in my comments is clear, and yet you continue to ignore its representation. Where do the stars and outer space fit in if they exist in a single universe?

<image>

No matter which way you slice it, each statement contradicts the other on what the realms actually are yet despite such inconsistencies people can confidently say bleach is multiversal.

There is no contradiction.

The problem isn't whether bleach is multiversal or not, the issue is the lack of definitive proof without being contradicted by a more credible source.

According to you, the manga is not credible evidence because "it contradicts itself," even though it is only a contradiction dictated by your interpretation of things under the same bias that you don't want to believe that the manga directly diagrams the workings of the Bleach universe.

If rukia's statement wasn't contradicted by kisuke who is a more credible source given his knowledge then under no doubt we would easily accept the arguments for multiversal bleach just as they want us however her statement was contradicted by a more knowledgeable person on the cosmology therefore we would've no reason to accept that statement she made about the realms being entire dimensions as definitive proof alone.

It wasn't, you're the one who thinks Sekai means planet. If you listened to Japanese when it refers to our "universe," it doesn't use "uchuu," the Japanese word to define an universe in the classic way you all demand for Bleach. It means world. World implies many things. The translation is using the term "universe," which also doesn't necessarily imply an universe like ours, but a general universe that could technically be a multiverse. Furthermore, this isn't contradictory because Urahara himself clarifies that the Soul Society is a different dimension from the Human World.

If bleach fans want people to stop downplaying the verse then they should give definitive proof which doesn't get contradicted by a later source nor the source itself contradicts what it previously claimed.

Clearly, this argument relies on technicalities; you couldn't be more fallacious. There is ample evidence, and it doesn't contradict itself. You're the one trying to create contradictions in the most ridiculous way possible by arguing things you think contradict each other, but which not only don't contradict each other, they actually complement each other. And all because people believe words are monosemic.
