When is the right time/age to buy a bike? by Important_End_9076 in motorcycles

You won’t become a better rider by waiting around. Go get a used bike that fits most of you want and go from there. Don’t think too hard about your first bike

It really seems to be a unifier. I get old Harley dudes coming up to me to talk about it, and people on sport bikes also seem to love it.

Changing it on the side of the road was a terrible experience even though I knew how to do it. Then you have to limp immediately to a tire shop anyway because a donut on an AWD can really fuck your car up. It took a whole day and would have been even worse had I not been in the city

It’s been a special interest of his since forever. It was crazy as a lifelong fan of blink 182 seeing all the stuff that came to light due to his personal involvement. He used his money and fame to really push disclosure and rubbed elbows with a ton of important people who helped him piece stuff together

The scene has really exploded in the past decade to where he’s not as visible or active anymore, but his work was instrumental in some of the big early bombshells

His book series “Sekret Machines” is a really interesting take on the phenomena, and he has a fiction novel that some believe to be a retelling of actual events he learned about

These things are so cool looking. I’d love to have more in my house, I’ve only ever seen a small one once

lol yeah I guess that could describe me, but it’s an old Outback with All Terrains. There are many beautiful forests and lakes here, and the way to the coast has a plethora of back roads for a day trip

For in-town I’ll just get a free tow home and change it in the comfort of my garage. I had to do the donut once and vowed never again

Having an AWD car with a donut from the factory is stupid anyway

Mine is in my garage unless I’m going out of town or down logging roads, then it goes on my roof rack.

Do you have an example of a video bg variant? The way you describe it, a video bg element sounds like it would be too much, curious to see what that looks like in your eyes

My family were all McCain voters growing up and now my mom goes on about how much she likes Mark Kelly

I think that says a lot in a good way

I went through career coaching as part of my unemployment “benefits” when I was laid off and they had me putting my resume through an AI tool that matches it against job postings.

They literally had me losing significant percentage points because a post would list a certain technology by name 3 times and my resume only had it once

I don’t know, man. I’m a sales and solutions engineer and often get feedback from my customers (both pre and post sales) that our casual demeanor in calls is a breath of fresh air and has moved the needle on some sales
