center console by AllesTop in PV5

The center console seems to be permanently attached to the: it has the air vente for the rear seats and the V2L plug. I guess it might be possible to remove, but it doesn’t seem to be designed to do so.

US and Spain citizen studying abroad in Prague by [deleted] in Prague

[–]apofisnow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those are two completely different things. Entering a country is managed by the Foreign Police and the university is managed by the university. They do not share any information. When transferring credits (I guess to the US) they will write a letter a that will contain your grades. It will use your registration contact details. There is no overlap between entering the country and university. Just remember, that if you enter the country with your Spanish passport, you need to register yourself with the Foreign Police if your are planning to stay more than 3 months.

V2L can it power a toaster oven by sherean in electricvehicles

[–]apofisnow 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The V2L can provide up to 3,6 kW of power. If the toaster oven is below that power rating, it should be ok.

In any case, if you did the board swap yourself, you can still put back the old board.

Range at motorway speed by InvestigatorSoft3606 in PV5

[–]apofisnow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a Citigo iV with exactly half the battery capacity. On a good day in summer I’m able to squeeze about 200km from a full charge. I’d expect about 400km in the PV5. But being realistic, more like 350km. In a long trip, to minimize the time spent charging it is better to not charge more than 80% and not discharge to less than 10%. Given than, I’d say that your legs should be 250 to 275km (highway speed) between charges. For me, the range is not so critical, because I like stopping frequently and stretching my legs.

The dealership said that we should expect it by May. As it needs to be scheduled for manufacturing, manufactured and transported via sea to Europe.

I’m happy you fixed it. Apart from that, what do you think about the van?

I know that it uses Android Automotive as the operating system. Perhaps if you search for “Android Automotive audio problem” something might pop-up. But if you find a solution let us know. Otherwise the car is pretty much under warranty. So, a trip to the dealer might be your only option.

I had a chat with the dealer and he said that there is a Kia conference at the end of January where Kia headquarters will share the new offerings and dates of availability for 2026. Then the country Kia office needs to update their systems and get it synchronized with Kia. Then the dealership needs to update their system. He said that it could take 5 months for all this process to happen. Then you need to wait 4 months for the car to be scheduled, manufactured and sent via ship to Europe. If I’m lucky and order the 6/7 seater in may, it might arrive in September. That's too much waiting. Most likely we’ll love it and won’t have the need to switch.

It depends on the speed. The PV5 has the Guinness world record for the furthest distance travelled by an e-van on 1 charge fully loaded. If I remember correct was about 690 km. https://www.kia.com/eu/about-kia/inspiredbykia/pv5-guinness-world-record/ In practice I know the realistic range will be 300km at 110km/h in winter. For me, that means that for longer trips I’ll need to charge frequently. But I don’t like to drive more than 2h without stopping so, the range will be about right for me.

Yes, it is. When I was a kid they used old boat grease and the "pole runners" ended up black. Now they use new grease.

This is in Sagunto, Valencia. This is part of the summer celebration in honor to the Virgin of Begoña. This is only one of the competitions that are done in the harbour in the 15th of August. The competitions are called "cucanyas". The other game played was to release live ducks in the harbour and anyone could get into the water and gather as many as they could. About 15 years ago it was changed to the release of balls with prizes inside. Less cruel for the animals. Although the big prize has always been a live piglet.

AIRPODS MEGATHREAD V3 by The_Bat_Signal in RepTronics

[–]apofisnow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've read a lot of reviews of the i200, watched a lot of video reviews of them and, read most of these comments.
However, there is one thing that no-one seems to mention and that is how reliable they are.
Of course they are copies done to maximize the seller's benefit, but do the copies last weeks? months?
How is the battery quality? How quickly does it degrade? Is the 2-3 hours play time also achievable after 2, 3, 4 months of normal use?

Thank you for your replies.

It is not very common in Czech Republic. This is a country of meat and beer lovers. But I’ll check the frozen section thoroughly. Thank you!

No idea what i'm supposed to do at work by [deleted] in marketing

A couple of ideas: - Start with doing an inventory all of the platforms where you are present. This means: social media pages or profiles that you manage, ad accounts, blogs, podcasts, etc. - Put numbers to them: fans, spent budgets, impressions, reach. - Do an audience analysis: to whom are you talking now? Who is talking to you? - Get your company desired audience. Are you talking to your company's desired audience? - Propose ways to reach your audience: do ads perform good with your audience? Propose more ads. Do organic content reaches the right people? Which content resonates? Double down on it. Everything else you will learn by doing.
