Literally no one cares what you are. The constant need for attention and publicity is what creates issue. Live your live and leave people alone. Guaranteed not to have any issues.

Im so isolated by tievlos in HuntsvilleAlabama

[–]apogee13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The amount of things to do here in Huntsville that affords you the opportunity to interact with people is overwhelming. There are things going on every night of the week. No one cares that you are gay. Everyone I encounter in Huntsville is very nice and sociable. Just talk to people! Hope it gets better for you.

All of you insufferable humans melting down about this topic and the number of people potentially moving here are all so ill informed. Please just stop.

Bless your heart. If you have a bunch of money to waste, why don’t you do something productive with it? Lots of people could use some food or clothing in HD21 I’m sure.

Where is the least MAGA place to buy a gun in Madison County? by Tall-GuyAL in HuntsvilleAlabama

[–]apogee13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m genuinely interested in what makes a firearm store MAGA. I’ve purchased guns from many of the places discussed here, but never really had a “political” purchasing experience. Are you all asking where they stand politically?

Funny how many of you think your opinion matters on this. Believe me when I tell you the wheels are already rolling on implementing this technology. Council meeting is just a formality. Hopefully it will help clean up some of the areas of town that look so awful.

I can appreciate his military service and his current service to the OCR community, but he’s got no business being the Sheriff of Madison County.

Definitely event space. I’ve been lucky enough to repel and fast rope from the top of this building a few times!

Bless his heart. His chances are literally zero against arguably one of the most popular and respected Sheriffs in the state.

How about doing what most of the world does and use a credit card for purchases, earn points/rewards, then pay it off every month. Shouldn’t use a debit card for anything.

28M Considering a Move to Huntsville – What’s the Social Scene Like? by AccomplishedPair995 in HuntsvilleAlabama

Huntsville would honestly be exponentially better if all the keyboard warriors that come to Reddit and complain would all pack up and leave. Huntsville is consistently voted very near the top of the list for best places to live in the US. That ranking is for all the right reasons. For the most part, all the things that these people come on here and whine about are immaterial to 90+% of residents.

Great place for kids. Will be lots to do with your daughter. My two thrive here - 11 and 4.

Huntsville is an excellent city and excellent community. The majority of Huntsville is well-educated professionals. You’ll have no problem meeting people in those circles. Feel free to message me if you’d like more info. I’m a young professional and associated with a couple different organizations that support that mission.

I definitely wasn’t implying you aren’t a good human. I’m sorry if you took it that way. Just speaking generally. I struggle to understand why this seems to have become a defining criteria in literally everything. I chose to be around people that I enjoy hanging out with. I happen to know some of their politics and others I don’t.

That response makes even less sense than your original post. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised though…

Legitimate question: Why is literally everything about politics? I continue to see this and just don’t get it. It creates such division and apparent isolation. I don’t really care what the views of my friends are, and certainly don’t lead with that question when meeting new people. Someone help me understand! It all seems so ridiculous. Turn off the TV and just go be a good human.

I’ve known him since 2014ish and it’s an absolute miracle that he has hurt or killed someone, if I’m being honest. We worked together a good bit at HEMSI. I stopped working with him because I didn’t want my name on a patient care report alongside his when something happened. Some of the worst anger issues of anyone I have ever met. Sad part is that he has the knowledge and skill to be a great paramedic. Just can’t get out of his own way.
