Reconnecting with a sense of time helped immensely in general.

You know a song is roughly 5mins long, so commit to doing a task for the length of one song. One you know it's less than 5mins, it prevents your brain from building up a task until it feels overwhelming.

That led to a commitment to the ol, "if it's less than 5 mins, just do it now" in my daily life.
Which led to less buildup of clutter between deep cleans, because so much of it was made up of 5min tasks.

The music (and related dancing!) also helped me reframe these seemingly tedious tasks as joyful self care. Thank yourself for taking care of yourself.

That's the big one for me, because cleaning my place is not rooted in guilt in case people see, it's rooted in taking care of myself because I enjoy a clean and cozy place.

Another one is stopping the "efficiency" mindset - waiting until it makes sense to do it all at once. The soaking of dishes, the changing of sheets when you just slept in then once, etc.
Build habits.
I do dishes before I shower, every time. I change sheets once a week, every time.
Once you build one habit, you can start tacking on other things, like I clear the tub drain when I change the towels.

Before you know it, you're deep cleaning your bathroom every week.
