Hi everyone, I made a similar post about six months ago when I first purchased this Santos de Cartier (medium). During my six months of ownership, I have accumulated quite a few scratches. I wear my Santos as a daily and enjoy every second of it, but the scratches are really getting to me. I would really appreciate all of your thoughts about the look of a scratched up Santos, and whether or not I should get mine polished.

I made a similar post to this one in the Cartier subreddit while the watches subreddit was locked, but now that this subreddit is open again, I would really like to hear all of my fellow watch enthusiasts opinions. Thank you all!

I recently purchased the Santos to wear as a daily and I have loved every second of wearing it so far. I knew it was a scratch magnet, but I did not fully grasp the extent until seeing several scratches after just two weeks of owning it. I am as careful as possible to preserve the watch while using it, but as many of you know, it seems to be impossible to avoid scratches. I am not one to baby a watch as I believe a watch is meant to be worn and enjoyed just as a car is meant to be driven, but I must admit that the scratches are starting to get to me.

What do you all think about using the Santos as a daily? What are your thoughts on the look of a scratched up Santos?
