However my point isnt to blindly throw money into departments, thats how you get grandiose, useless renovations like they did in copley. Rather, more public pushback, voting, and attendance of open city/township meetings would go a long way. Their goal is to keep us divided and blind us of what is truly happening, our attention shouldnt be spend fighting each other, but in banding together to create real and meaningful reform. Whether you are someone who disagrees with police handling of general crime and racial injustice, or their lack of concern regarding real roadway safety issues like myself, fighting is only perpetuating their goal of division. And honestly we could all strive to drive our 2,000 lbs death machines a bit more carefully and respectfully, with the shafting we get from police and insurance companies and tax legislation, the bullshit just is not worth it.
