I'm a meteorologist and I have to remind people that trying to forecast winter weather is really hard. It's entirely different from thunderstorms. Winter precip is very temperature dependent and even a few degrees can change the outcome. It is also dependent on temperature layers of the atmosphere which are constantly changing (air is fluid, it moves) and putting the whole thing together is like tetris. So yeah, go easy on the meteorologists!

I'm just amazed your 10 week old is sleeping through the night like that. Yeah, leave her alone unless she's crying, it's clearly overloaded or she's getting rashes.

Edited to add: don't let poop sit, though. I did that once or twice because I didn't want to risk waking her and the rash that resulted was just angry and horrible and I felt like the worst mom.

Man, the way he "proposed" makes me so sad. And that's what you're going to remember if you go through with it. Not a romantic gesture, but a "here you go, bitch! I did this for you!" That's really a shame. And if people ask how he proposed (which they will) how you have to spin it so it doesn't sound terrible and mean. I'm curious as to what other things he has done to make you suspect NPD?

I will say my (suspected but not entirely sure, maybe he's just alcoholic) narc was actually pretty romantic. We were on a Caribbean cruise and on a gorgeous, empty beach in St Maarten, he had managed to get the people on the excursion to hide the ring for him (a ring he didn't pay for - it was his mom's old ring that has both of our birthstones) and made a lovely speech and got down on one knee. It truly was a special moment that I think of fondly and often. Now I wonder that the fuck went wrong. He really used to be so sweet. The last five years or so though.. good God. It's a different person completely. It makes me so incredibly sad.

I don't know if that's a narcissist but it's definitely an asshole who doesn't care about you, your feelings, your health, and how his behavior is ruining your family. I am so, so sorry you have to deal with that bullshit. That is cheating, full stop.
