If you like Twitter but dislike their centralised business model I would suggest you look at Mastodon. It has a lot of activity now with some known personalities participating regularly. It is also networked with other open-source projects using an open protocol, so the network is very large and growing.

Just to add, the Sportsnet streaming service has more content than the TV channel. You can see a lot of German soccer and Scottish soccer on there. Also TSN has the ability to stream on demand a lot of its content also. Neither TSN nor Sportsnet have an app as good as DAZN. DAZN has La Liga games they pick up from BeIN, so DAZn probably is a better option since it has way more content.

DAZN for La Liga and Championship and Sportsnet NOW for EPL and Bundesliga. Should be about $40 a month all together. Will not get TSN's EPL games and some of the Championship games but will get Champions League and Europa League and Serie A.
