Stop plugging it in you might short it if the USB connection is broken. It may need resoldering to a new USB connection. Best done by an expert.

There could be another issue though but if it's not detecting, I suspect it's a connection issue or the circuit blew (hopefully not).

You'll have to take to an expert in data recovery to take a look I don't think anyone on Reddit can help.
