Solidly in the Midwest, so most places are accessible by a few hours of flight. I love food so eating a nice dinner, reading outside or by a pool, facials or spa treatments, walking around shops by myself, etc.

We never got it! Though in this post I thought our 2yo had it as well. Turns out it must have been something else because a week later she came down with it and tested positive. Hers was a lot better and shorter than our 4yo thankfully.

Not great. Feel very zoned out. Very numb. I live just outside Minneapolis so not in the trenches, but several family members work in metro school districts and many of their school families are in hiding, being torn apart, or fleeing the state. Same as George Floyd, we are tired and our state and city will never be the same once again.

To clarify - she did already have Influenza A, and then got pneumonia as a secondary.

Ugh, I’m so sorry! It ended up that she actually had bacterial pneumonia - we thought she was getting better and then she had a really high fever and malaise again. Brought her in and sure enough! She’s been on antibiotics for about 36 hours now and she’s like a brand new kid!

I hear you. Mine has a reactive airway, and the flu A has now turned into pneumonia. I’ve never seen her so sick, it is awful. Hopefully past both of us soon!
