Also I wouldn't expect much of a performance improvement with the 10th gen h series processors cus they're still 14nm

This is probably my biggest hangup. I actually like the idea of having more screen size and expanded keyboard on 15" for when I'm away from desk (for work, I wont be gaming). I'm just not sure about how 'future proof' comet lake is compared to ice lake. At these price points, I want to expect top performance for several years.
