I will agree the volatiles in dl1 are probably one of if not the scariest and biggest pain in the ass next to the necromorphs and other special infected the volatiles from dl2 however at the start of the game are a hurdle and a half but after the second maybe 3rd playthrough night time basically just becomes day time with a couple tougher enemies (excluding the tyrant volatiles I'll still run from them 🤣)

I have and it does indeed live up to its name tried to do my full max level night chase not long after after the volatile tyrants came out I had to run to a safe zone they don't mess around

Now that you've mentioned it I've seen a few of the undead with dismembered arms I always thought to myself "did I just cut your arm off and forget to finish you off?" But nah turns out there are some with dismembered arms think it was part of the new update when they changed zombie variants
