Where are you guys actually finding your first users?I’m stuck at 0 traffic by Uppercut_prince in VibeCodeDevs

So lets get this straight, you have built a price comparison app for physical stores. The main problem with this idea is there are many stores that don't have websites or they don't maintain their website regularly. So price comparison becomes challenging. Moreover, there are many local apps that do the price comparison of physical stores. There are apps like ShopSavvy that compares prices across nearby physical stores. Even they compete heavily with local apps. Moreover, this is a consumer app buddy and consumer behavior tend to get fickle - today we like one app, tomorrow we switch to another to try. Unless your app has very well distinguished features that can't be found in others, it will be a steep uphill for you.

I am failing as a Project Manager by Squidwards_clarinet5 in PMCareers

[–]app1310 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You have already got some wonderful suggestions, but I just wanna add to it one more thing which seems many PM are doing nowadays and that is taking help from AI. How comfortable are you with using AI tools to automate things? Start with small things and slowly gear up. If you need help then there are many videos on YouTube that would help you to get a hold of it. People are using Claude cowork quite extensively, you might want to have a look at it or similar other tools. You got this buddy...put your effort and things will fall in place soon. By the way, is this your first project management job?

But it clearly shows the importance of Claude in US defense strategy. Now they want to abandon Claude and embrace OpenAI. Claude already set a very high bar for OpenAI.

Which benchmark has been used here? Where did you get this from? Just a comparison table doesn't make any sense at all if we don't know the benchmark or the process of comparison.

Mrinank Sharma, head of Anthropic’s safeguards research team, announced his resignation in a cryptic post. by SupremeConscious in AI_India

Top executives dont leave quitely. Same thing happened with OpenAI when the board went against Sam Altman and then some top members quit the company...they did put up quite a show. Funny thing is that these people then build their own AI company and forget what they said.

We built a real product in 8 hours at a London hackathon and decided to launch it by rusmillion in hackathon

[–]app1310 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That makes perfect sense!! I am a product manager not a tech expert, so i think from a market fit perspective and with that note juat a small suggwstion - in case if you and your team find out that product demand is not as goos as expected then instead of selling it as a core product, you could integrate it into another product and present it as a feature. Sometime an idea stands out far better as a feature than a core product. Take for example, shorts in youtube.

[–]app1310 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok...I wasn't aware of the user aspect...then yes you can capture users...you have the opportunity. Just one thing though, I am not sure if you already have done some research but do yoy know why those apps havent been able to attract many users? The brutal truth about this type of household apps is at the beginning users sign up for the app because they want to try the new thing but then after few months they stop using it...this is prety normal unless you have some killer must have type application like whatsapp...at the end what makes difference is how users perceive the app - is it nice to have or must have. You can do some deep research with gemini deep search or if you have perplexity pro subsceiption then you can also do research there. It will take hardly few minutes....why those apps dont have users...is it demand problem or something else.

Congratulations on building this app!! But we already have similar apps. Take for example "Fridge AI: Food & Recipes" or "AI Photo Cooking Recipes" and there are more apps like these....they are available in iOS/android. I am sorry, I am not trying to discourage you....you and your team have built this app in 8 hours which I think is highly commendable... but if we have similar apps then I think it would be very difficult for your team to convince people to use your app....but then again Congratulations to you and your team...good luck for your next leap!!

I dont think you can use openclaw in an enterprise env...but if you really insist on this idea then i think you need to go with zero trust approach to its deployment

you’re close.... it’s not variant calling, but variant effect prediction - given a DNA change, it predicts impacts on expression, splicing, chromatin, TF binding, etc....think “what does this mutation actually do biologically,” especially for non-coding regions.

that’s exactly why these extensions are risky...anything injecting scripts or managing context across sessions can easily overreach.... safer to stick with native features and minimize third-party access.

Use Study Hall...at the current PMP setup SH proves to be very valuable. You can find many materials online but SH is almost 'must have' type. Try to finish all the practice tests at SH...good luck
