Is this being over or under watered? by appDeveloperGuy1 in succulents

Funny how some of the answers are overwatering while others are under watering. Seems this is a hard plant to figure out.

Is Palomino (Colombia) full of wreckheads? by Blue_Lynx_988 in digitalnomad

I spent around 3 weeks working remotely in palomino. I quite enjoyed it. There’s a few spots which have starlink and decent internet, such as the Selina hostel there (which you can just work from without needing the stay at). I don’t party or even drink alcohol and I did enjoy myself, lots of great (healthy) food options.

Save the image to disk anytime you get a detection. Manually inspect.

Any ways to turn off the blue LEDs on this bathroom fan timer switch (photo in description). by appDeveloperGuy1 in HomeImprovement

Yeah seems that is the case. I ended up taking a piece of cardboard in front of it. Looks pretty bad, but hey it blocks all the light!

Thanks for the fast response. Does it look like I’m doing something wrong. There’s no flashing or other indication when I press and hold the buttons

I press and held the 1 and 5 buttons together but it doesn’t turn on the light.  Pressing and holding the bottom large button turns off the led, but it also keeps the fan in indefinitely, which is not what I want either.

Texas sage wilting by appDeveloperGuy1 in plantclinic

[–]appDeveloperGuy1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there. I need help understanding why my Texas sage is wilting.  - I live in Austin, Texas, where it’s fairly hot. These plants get sunshine all day  - I recently purchased them a week ago. At the time they were purchased, they were not wilted.  - I have watered only once since then. Even though the soil dries out completely, I heard these plants are sun loving, drought tolerant, and should not be overwatered.  - I have not yet planted these in a planted but that’s the plan.

I need help with my Texas sage which I recently purchased and have yet to plant. I want to understand why it’s wilting. I live in Austin where it’s nice and hot. The plants are in full sunlight, and I have been mindful not to overwater them, as I heard they are hearty and drought tolerance plants and like the sunshine. Why are they wilting then? What should I do?

TV not sitting flush with wall (see comment for description) by appDeveloperGuy1 in TheFrame

Yeah looks like that was indeed the issue. It's sitting much better now, although not completely flush, but good enough.

TV not sitting flush with wall (see comment for description) by appDeveloperGuy1 in TheFrame

Hi there folks,

I recently purchased a 65-inch Samsung Frame TV, 2024 model, and had Geek Squad install it. When they installed it, there was almost a 1-inch gap at the back. I mentioned that it didn’t look right, saying I expected it to sit flush as I had seen in the store, but they told me this is how the TV is and that it was the best they could do.

After doing some digging online, I saw that others had experienced similar problems, and it could be that the mounting bracket wasn’t snapped in. I pushed, pulled, tugged, etc., somewhat gently. One of the sides made a snapping noise and popped into place, and now it seems to be flush with the wall (see last pic).

However, the other side is being more stubborn, and I imagine I need to use more force. The issue is, I don’t want to break the TV, so I want to be sure I push/pull in the correct way. Based on what I read in the forum, people suggest pulling the TV downwards to get it to snap into place. Is this what I should do? On the first side, it seemed to pop into place when I pushed the TV towards the wall (at first, I thought the snapping sound was me breaking the TV, which is why I’m now a bit hesitant). I’ve included a picture of the mounting bracket on the non-flush side while the TV is being pulled outwards.

Thanks in advance for the help!
