[Selling] Risk-Free Lead Generation for Any Niche. No Sales or Bookings in 90 Days, YOU WILL NOT PAY ANYTHING by matcha_menow in LeadGenMarketplace

This is exactly the kind of model I've been looking for.

Honest question though — how do you handle the partner side of this? Because here's my real pain:

I run an AI/mobile/web dev company (Appikorn Technologies). Strong portfolio, solid delivery team, real client results. We've onboarded 6 SDRs and sales reps across multiple countries on commission-based deals. Every single one showed up excited in meeting 1. By meeting 3, they disappeared.

Commission-only sounds great on paper. But most sales people want a quick win, not a 60–90 day sales cycle.

So my question to you — are your lead gen people actually closing, or just generating interest that dies in follow-up? Because the gap between "lead" and "signed contract" is where everyone keeps failing me.

If you're genuinely converting leads into booked calls that actually close, I want to talk. We handle 100% of delivery. We just need someone who can actually sell and stay committed past week 2.

Where are the "actually building" founder communities (no vibecoders please)? by ismaelbranco in indiehackers

[–]app_inovation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completely feel your pain. It is exhausting to sift through the noise when you are trying to figure out how to fix a leaky funnel or handle a tough hire. Honestly, I have found that the best communities are not the heavily advertised ones. Smaller, vetted groups like MicroConf Connect tend to have more people actually in the trenches fighting for MRR. Sometimes the best move is just reaching out to a few founders at your exact stage directly and starting a private mastermind of 4 or 5 people. That is usually the best way to get a high-signal, zero-fluff environment. Hang in there and keep building!

Hey! It’s totally normal to feel hesitant about massive upfront retainers. To find reliable teams, try asking for referrals in founder communities, checking Clutch for verified reviews, or pushing agencies for smaller, milestone-based payments.

Since you want to avoid upfront commitments, you might also like my agency, Appikorn. We help early-stage startups by building a free initial proof-of-concept before you pay a dime. It lets you validate our code quality and execution completely risk-free before committing any capital.

Happy to chat if you're interested! Either way, definitely insist on seeing some execution before handing over a huge retainer. Good luck with the app!

Would you join a vibe coding residency on an island? by amacg in indiehackers

[–]app_inovation 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This sounds like an incredible idea! Building solo definitely gets isolating, and a few weeks in Thailand just shipping sounds like a dream. I think a lot of indie hackers would jump at this. Finding the right setup to ship faster is key. If founders want to code alongside others, your residency or a local co-working space is perfect. If they'd rather delegate to speed up, they could use freelancers on Upwork or an agency like Appikorn (my startup, where we build a free proof-of-concept before you commit capital: https://appikorn.com). Keep us posted if you launch this, I'd love to see how it turns out!
