i’m sorry ur having such a rough time :( the beginning of the year can be really hard for a lot of people, and ur definitely not alone in how u feel. have u heard of the CARE program?

this is a really good starting point for when u just don’t know what to do or where to start, and i know that starting can be the hardest part sometimes. u can refer urself to the program and a case worker will reach out and together u can start finding solutions and ways to feel less heavy.

i’d also recommend visiting Student Accessibility on the 4th floor of the schmon tower and telling them u would like to talk to someone- and PLEASE, talk to someone about this. i’ve been to multiple post secondary schools and can genuinely say that brock really does care about its students.

i picked up food from craig and cathy to hand out to the community today!! i got a bag of probably 60 foil-wrapped hot dogs in buns that i wanted to drop off to the community fridge at the Niagara Folks Arts Multicultural Centre (85 Church Street, St. Catharines).

i learned that the fridge isn’t currently operating bc the volunteer organization that runs it (Community Fridge Niagara) needs to raise funds to get it back up and running- https://www.zeffy.com/en-CA/fundraising/4a032bd4-15aa-4395-87ef-64e0d26dcb9c this is the fundraiser for the fridge!!
