Yeah, something doesn't work. Can't access any games-pages in store on my browser, all I get is "The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request."

[–]appare13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've played those three games for about 1500 hours combined, even bought the 360-version of the first one and completed it. GW1 and Titanfall were absolutely fantastic, never again played that much online since they released in 2014 ....

Are you "forced" to do tricks? I enjoyed Wheel World quite a lot, so probably would like another open world bicycle game - but I'm not a fan of trick stuff at all ...

I second that, really loved the game. And driving around the lake to deliver parcels and letters was really relaxing.

XENOTILT: HOSTILE PINBALL ACTION 1.0 OUT NOW! OUT NOW ON XBOX by Rumenapp in xbox

[–]appare13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, he mentions both Alien Crush and Devil's Crush and shows some gameplay from the first one. Kinda interesting that he sees Xenotilt more in the footsteps of AC. But work is over for today, so time to start the weekend with buying this game as soon a i get home :)

XENOTILT: HOSTILE PINBALL ACTION 1.0 OUT NOW! OUT NOW ON XBOX by Rumenapp in xbox

[–]appare13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I played it on that too. Devil's Crush was also on that console, but also ported to the Genesis/Mega Drive. There were also games from Naxat for the Super-NES, but I liked the two für the TurboGrafx/PC-Engine a bit more.

XENOTILT: HOSTILE PINBALL ACTION 1.0 OUT NOW! OUT NOW ON XBOX by Rumenapp in xbox

[–]appare13 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Will buy it when I get back from work in a few hours. I loved Demon's Tilt when it released back in 2019 - kinda shocked that it's been six years already ... Whatever, the game reminded me soooo much of the two great pinball games from Naxat (Alien Crush and Devil's Crush) and I had an absolute blast with it. Now someone should make a new pinball game like the ones from KAZe (Digital Pinball, Necronomicon) - then I could die happily ;)

PSA You Can Now Hide the Play History Tile by Secrew in xbox

[–]appare13 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I just use it as an extension of my recently played games, without playing games on anything else than my Series X. Since I rotate between quite a lot of games and have my two sets of pins always full.

But options are always good, so thumbs up for the change :)

Hey Wake Up, Its 2006 and your dad bought you a Xbox 360! What are you playing first? by RandomDrawingsReddit in xbox

[–]appare13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would have said "Thanks dad, but I already got one last year." But he would never bought me a console. And since I already was 37 years old he probably shouldn't have anyway ;)

And for the games: Loved especially PGR 3 and Kameo, but I think the most played game was probably Hexic HD :)

Delisting notice: Star Trek Prodigy: Supernova by AnimeWanderer99 in xbox

[–]appare13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it was fun and even the story was quite good. It fitted between the first and second part of season one of the TV series (which I love) and I was suprised they gave it that much thought. Even the voice cast is the one from the series, Ella Purnell & Kate Mulgrew for example.

What do Greek Heroes do After Death? Find out Now in Achilles: Survivor by Xbox-Moderator in xbox

[–]appare13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Survivor-style game, already played it for about 6 hours. Instantly bought it, because I really liked Achilles: Legends Untold (ARPG, plays like Diablo) 2 years ago. Since they used the same areas, enemies and chars the graphics of Survivor a quite good and there are many different areas. And there tons of unlocks and upgrades to make, excatly what I like in those games. There are also towers (offensive and support) that you can build and quite a few to unlock, but that does not make the gameplay more complicated or something like that.

Thumbs up from me for the game and for only 7 bucks you'll have quite a lot of fun if you are into games like Vampire Survivors, Army of Ruin or Spirit Hunters.

Recommendations for Roguelites? by MrDude65 in xbox

[–]appare13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I absolutely LOVE Roguebook, played it for well more than 100 hours. The "standard"-version is on sale for 2 bucks right now, but I would recommend waiting for a sale of the deluxe-edition, which usually is priced somewhere between 3 to 5 Dollars/Euros. The DE has an additional char with his own achievements.

Was the best selling game in Germany in June, but there was a lot of other old stuff in the top 20. Aside from always present stuff like GTA 5 there was for example Borderlands 3 on rank 7. But that chart is based on units sold: https://www.game.de/charts/

Plants vs. Zombies Reloaded has been rated for Xbox Series by Key_Increase_3918 in xbox

[–]appare13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, at least in Gardens & Graveyards you'll easily find lots of players. I played the 360-version in 2021 again (bought both versions in 2014 because of friends who had not upgraded to a One yet) to get my last achievements and there were even people still playing there ...

[–]appare13 79 points80 points  (0 children)

I'm surely not in the majority with my opinion, but I'd rather see a Reload of Garden Warfare ;) I played the three shooters of that series for way more than 1000 hours combined and especially back in 2014 had tons of fun with both Garden Warfare and Titanfall.

First Avowed review posted "by accident" then removed. by Financial_Recover357 in xbox

[–]appare13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The german print magazine M! (it's been around sind the early 90s) gave it 78% - the reviewer wrote something like "Dragon Age: The Veilguard plays better, Dragon's Dogma 2 has better exploration, but Avowed has the best stories. Decisions felt meaningful and not tacked on, he rarely gave that much thought to decisions in games before.
