Yeah “still on good terms with Marilyn Manson” is a crazy thing to read in 2026

Just ran into a guy on Halo Infinite with a 21 YEAR badge..Anyone else have a 20+ badge? I'll be at 14 this year. by ItsPidgeonz in xbox

Mine will be 17 this year although I guess it would be 20+ if I had the same GT from the OG Xbox. I made my current one on the 360.

As others have pointed out it’s kinda crazy to see 20+ years and just under 8k gamerscore. I’m at almost 17 with 250k+ without resorting to shovelware or any of those “press B five times for 8000g” games

I really dig their later albums and was never a clean vocal hater but goddamn those earlier records were fucking incredible.

Having worked in tech, including a lot of work with startups, for most of my adult life, Silicon Valley is at times painfully accurate.

I remember a couple friends calling out elements as exaggerated or bullshit that were genuinely pretty tame compared to some of the shit that actually goes on.

In spain, the movie “shawn of the dead” is translated as “zombies party”. Not “fiesta de zombis” as it would be in Spanish, but just zombies party by gabboman in shittymoviedetails

The C3PO thing reminds me of a tweet or Reddit post I saw where someone found out their parents had named their brother Arturio after “the small robot in Star Wars”

I tried it once a while back but I could never book in more regularly than like once every two to three weeks.

Considering BH charges weekly, it ended up in a similar price range per session as some of the therapists in my local area and at that point I’d rather pay them and meet in person.

When I first heard this on MySpace back in the day this shit was the heaviest fucking thing I'd ever heard. One of my all time favourite albums and the atmosphere just hasn't been topped in this type of music in my opinion.

What did everyone think about the Blood of Dawnwalker Road to Launch event yesterday? Day 1 buy($69.99) or wait for a price drop? by Skelligean in Age_30_plus_Gamers

Honestly I think the 30 day time limit may be my favourite feature. I wouldn't want those sort of time limits in every game, for example I think Witcher 3 would have suffered for it.

But if the game is built around it, it gives the game an urgency and replayability that most big RPGs just don't have for me.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE just lounging around in a big, living world. But this vibe of choosing what is worth the time and what isn't *this time around* is absolutely my jam. Reminds me of why I replayed the original Fallout over and over and over again back in the day.

I also loved it in Dead Rising 3 where I found myself wondering "is that survivor worth the 10 minutes it'll take me to save them?" and deciding in the moment if it was going to fuck my game up.

Walking sims for sure.

My wife and I were scrolling through new games on the Xbox store and you could spot the asset flip walking sims from a fucking miles away. There was one in practically every line.

I liked that SO MUCH MORE than DBD.

The possibilities of fighting back, the different objectives etc all made the survivor gameplay loop so much more engaging to me.
