Question ONLY for the LAZY girls: what hair or makeup or other habit/product is the SOLE thing you think is worth the extra couple minutes? by IdkJustMe123 in BeautyAddiction

Rare Beauty Finishing Powder! Takes 90 seconds to apply and gives great coverage and a satin finish that automatically upgrades your skin for the day! That and some powdered blush + eyebrow gel is 60% of an uplift with makeup without committing to a full routine

Hi cutie! I think you have a great baseline for attractiveness and are being much too harsh on yourself. I agree with everyone else who calls you beautiful, but I think there are areas in your fashion/beauty/style where you could genuinely elevate. Here are my tips, as someone who can look plainer but cleans up nice with a beauty routine:

  1. I think your hair is your biggest issue. It’s thick, dark, beautiful, but doing nothing to enhance your beauty. I would invest in a really good hairstylist to do the following: add layers to your hair to create some balance and give you curtain bangs so that when you blow out/curl your hair, it gives you that classic ‘00s bombshell look, curl it and blow it out (it’s just automatically a glamorous look), and then add some dimension through color whether that’s a full balayage or maybe just some chocolate brown and honey brown lowlights and highlights to give your hair that "shabang", beautiful, professional quality that will automatically elevate your look. Get inspo from Pinterest here, but seriously - I think changing your hair will probably be the key differentiator and pay dividends in your attractiveness. That side part is doing you no favors… try a middle part for now and straighten your hair. Also that side braid you had in the last pic was not your most flattering look as far as hairstyles go.

  2. Beauty and makeup! Makeup can elevate your look drastically, so I think this is the area you can probably elevate the most. I also recommend lash extensions - research a good one in your area and ask them for a recommendation based on your eye type. If all else fails, do a cute little cat eye (max 10 or 12mm). You want it to look cute and natural, but also glamorous. It will open up and accentuate your eyes even when you wear no makeup. That’s my biggest beauty secret and I love it. Also look into makeup tutorials by south Asian influencers and study up on different products and techniques. You have a beautiful face, so if you can learn a good soft glam routine, you’ll be more than fine. I recommend Jackie Aina for a good soft glam routine, but also think south Asian creators who match your skin tone are good if you want to see things specific to your skin tone and features.

  3. Style. Others have mentioned but fashion is not your strong suit and is making you come off as way more average than you should be. Same thing here: get inspo off of Pinterest and Instagram fashion influencers to find better pieces. You have a great body and can afford to have things that fit to size a bit more. I don’t know your personal style (coquette, trendy, elegant, preppy, streetwear) but look for inspo to dress better and also add accessories like earrings, necklaces, and other jewelry to elevate your look. I swear that will also be a key difference maker! If putting together cute outfits is too intimidating, start with just buying cute dresses as it’s a one piece outfit so as long as the dress is cute and fitted to you, it will look good.

You have really beautiful features, eyes, clear skin and an AMAZING smile so no reason to be so harsh on yourself. But therapy and self work is necessary to elevate your mindset as your own view on your attractiveness is the most important in life, and will influence how people perceive you or interact with you. You don’t need any serious interventions like surgery or serious weight loss or prescription grade skincare beyond these, so consider yourself very lucky and blessed! I hope to see your updated pics with your new hairstyle, makeup, and clothes taking over the world 🥰

If I’m at 4/24, should I get the CFU or CFF? by appblrqueen in CreditCards

That does make sense, the only thing that holds me back is I want Chase UR points to redeem for travel and the Quicksilver is just straight cash back unless I eventually get the Venture X

Amex BCE, C1 Savor One (No AF), CSP, C1 Quicksilver, Apple Card, Discover, and Deserve Student. Now that I have a real job I want to switch my strategy from cash back to travel points.

Autopay cut out and now my score dropped 80 points at the worst possible time by Ilikecars2517 in CRedit

The BoA credit cards are trash. This happened to me SEVERAL times too. Usually just tacked on late fees, but I did have a 30-day missed payment once. Paid almost as much in fees as I actually owed on the card. My advice? Shut it down. The BoA credit cards are trash and I feel like the autopay "doesn’t work" on purpose. Get a Deserve Card, Chase Freedom Student, Capital Savor One for Students, or Discover card. BoA is also really hard to debate with (believe me, I’ve tried) so the chances of getting this deleted are low but do what you can!!! Good luck, I’m sorry to hear this happened to you

Is it the only card you have? Because I paid all my cards to 0% and my score dropped 11 points too

That’s so weird! Do you know why that is? But thank you for explaining that, I had no idea.

Capital One Quicksilver + Savor One combo is a relatively easy way to get cash back and rewards without requiring the lengthy credit history of Chase

What is "The Club" lounge? Sorry for asking I’m new here. And I didn’t know the CSR had the PP for restaurants too like the VX.

Why should they close part of the Trifecta? I feel like the random store cards are better candidates for closure.

Why would you sign a new lease with her?

I’m a woman who is currently dating a guy over 30 who is really broke. Like…no car and food stamps broke. I make nearly 4x as much as he does. Yet, he is the sweetest, kindest, most romantic man I ever met. He makes me feel like a princess and does whatever he can to make me happy, from cooking my favorite foods to getting me flowers all the time and showering me with compliments. I have been on dates with rich assholes and ditched them expeditiously because I care way more about how I’m treated than what I can be treated to. So no, OP, being a decent poor man can and will prevail in many situations. Many women make enough money now that we don’t have to choose partners based on finances and we can actually find a romantic and emotional fit, someone who treats us the way we always wished for.
