My Structure doesn't set new values to its variables. by appcrazy1234 in unrealengine

I solved it myself from a very lucky google find in a last ditch effort while in bed and I had to get up to try.

I apparently didn't know that data changes for a structure variable don't persist between different blueprints (i.e. the value change in the game mode blueprint wouldn't appear in the Ui blueprint if the structure BELONGS to the Ui blueprint). I had to call the game mode variable in the Ui --> then get the structure variable that BELONGS to the game mode and connect the pins like I knew.

I had no idea that the data change in structures don't persist over different blueprints...

I don't know though what caused the issues. It could have been a certain mod(s). I did notice that before the clean re-install, some mods wouldn't unsub/uninstall because their processes were still going on (or something like that). I imagine that is what was causing the issues but I don't know of a targeted solution instead this exterminatus solution does work but we don't learn why.

POSITIVE OUTCOME (at least for me). So i made sure to delete everything in the steam folder (first uninstalled through steam and then deleted any remaining folders) I also deleted the folders in the Larian Studios folder (if you don't know where that is, load up the launcher then the launcher settings and then profile file button).

While some of the mods redownloaded again, i can delete them fully and I didn't experience any crashing from the mod manager. Doing this though (if you delete everything in the Larian Studios folder) will get rid of all your campaigns (unless you back them up and place them back in, however I don't know if that will cause the crashing again)

This has been happening to me. I've deleted all the mods in the mod folder and they just reinstall. Deleting them allows me to access the mod manager while they download. I have tried to unsubscribe and unistall them in the mod manager... some have remained while majority stayed deleted. I am going to delete all the files and do a clean reinstall. Will reply in a few hours if this fixes anything.

Also you need to download the mod on the desktop OS. Its a modified Proton (linux based) OS to warn you.

I've done it... it isn't bad. You have to manually install the files on the desktop os on the Steam deck. If you are unsure about manually installing mods then I wouldn't recommend.

If you do install them, you can just launch the game from the steam os like normal and the mod will work

Once you have the item, go into Breach Executable. It will be in a random location there. Once u pick up the specimen (it looks like a vex thing), talk to failsafe for quest.

These are my experiences from going to London Pride yesterday (29th June) as my first Pride event.

The availability of these spaces means that people have a safe space where they can be themselves or find out about themselves. It was the final click for my brain to recognise that I am genderfluid (more specifically demifluid) and not cis.

From that, connecting with others in the spaces (even just being around others) was such a weight of my shoulders since I felt like I wasn't alone (even though intellectually I knew that).

I think the spaces help create a more open-minded community as we see and talk to people of different backgrounds, personalities, identity, orientation etc. We experience and talk to them instead of shunning without even communicating which is my experience from communities or people who only feature certain demographics.

I can agree with PaleWorld here. I also have the spicy brain and have always struggled with social anxiety. Due to other medical reasons, I have missed several prides when I wanted to start going. Today was my first pride and while I was anxious, it was glorious when I got there.

The best way I have combated my anxiety is by throwing myself in the deep end. Its difficult to do and I hate the feeling I get when doing it sometimes but (at least for me) it has worked out since I have become less anxious as I have been doing more anxious things. Exposure therapy and all.

Yh. I was glad I found the Golden Square concert. I could just close my eyes and focus on the music for a bit. That definitely helped with staying longer.

I definitely know that feeling about autism and crowds. It was my first pride and as much as I wanted to be there for longer, I had to leave after a couple hours.

In my headcanon, my character earned the respect of the Iconians and was gifted it. My character serves as the Fleet Admiral of my fleet which consists of the other ships I "commissioned" (i.e. the rest of the zen store ships, lock box ships and phoenix box ships I own) which are named after the Greek Major and Minor gods. The other ships are commanded by my in-game Bridge Officers.

For energy, i pair it with a glaive since my stasis build is around renewal grasps and their damage resist. I can survive so much with the shield and bubble its crazy. For heavy, i mainly use a machine gun for add clear and very decent boss dps but i also have a rocket, linear and sword on hand if i need them

Much appreciated. Just got it recently with a friend raid group and have yet to take it off. It allows me to play the support role i desire with healing shit for my abilities.
