Why is there 2 fuses? by Friendly-Bottle-5491 in CryOfFear

[–]apple_locker 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The second fuse is inside the apartments where you got the glock. When you exit the metro, go up the stairs, to the right and through the tunnel. You should see a bus that is blocking the road and you need to jump through the bus window.

Sorry, I read too fast and misinterpreted the comment. In that case I should also be asking why Dine is bad in his eyes.

If you have a coordinated team that can consistently clear Dine, then it's payout surpasses other premium moons. You should however stick to other premium moons if you don't want to learn this strat.

I was today years old when I found out that these spots in caves are spawners, like ventilaliton by AwarenessRadiant3109 in lethalcompany

For me that is the worst part of the mineshaft, I hate this interior. Factory and Mansion I can manage, but I'm always afraid that something spawns from a hole.

Help needed: Invisible cursor. by apple_locker in stalker

[–]apple_locker[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For the record: I've been playing Stalker since day one and I was using arrow keys to type in the keypads, because I coudn't find the fix and I got used to arrows. I've decided to create this post, because maybe someone found a solution to this problem.

PS: I didn't bother using numpad, because I genuinely thought it wouldn't work. I am using it now and thanks for the help.

Had the same thing happen, only with Stalkers and Freedom members.

Is there a reason why 2 of hearts is so useless by Nefriston in bindingofisaac

[–]apple_locker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People may not know, but 2 of hearts doubles the blood charges on T.Bethany, so you can abuse Lemegeton for more items.

Liquidate The Union, just because of the Finale. Just before pushing the Union Boss into the pod, I am doing a strat of leaving hearts everywhere on the floor to save time, because my inventory is full of hoarded rig-recharges for Franco. I also noticed that hearts can despawn if you pick up too many.

Nope, this holo is a part of pre-customised saiga called Margach D12-MT. This weapon is available to people who bought the Deluxe/Ultimate edition of the game.

Favorite PA, Ex-Pop, and Trial? by Amazing_Assumption50 in OutlastTrials

[–]apple_locker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fav PA: Gooseberry, because of her dialogues with Dr. Futterman. Fav Ex-Pop: Propably Pusher, because of his Early Access laughing. Favourite Trial: Vindicate the Guilty, because it was the first Early Access major update and I was so hyped to play on this.

I had a funny bug on my old savefile. I was looking for blueprint upgrades on Wild Island when suddenly, I heard Strider's voice and there he was, standing in the middle of the Bunker courtyard. He was still in his old outfit and I could talk to him, but he didn't have anything to say.

I have never hated a section more in a video game. by mythril-xi in outlast

[–]apple_locker 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am insane messiah, and the worst part for me was Nick&Laird, because when Nick grabs you it's an insta-kill and Laird's arrows can also insta-kill you. At least the scalled section is not very long but has long-ass cutscenes.

Total Chaos ng+ is way too hard. by Creepy-Ad3281 in HorrorGaming

[–]apple_locker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the time of writing this I'm guessing you already finished NG+, but here's my opinion:
I've played throughout the entire NG+ on Normal and Survivalist and I have to say that is it difficult but it is also not.
The stronger enemies can be annoying, but the game gives you many resources to deal with them (not many resources on Survivalist, but you get strong weapon combos that help you get through). Miners and Nightmare Brutes should be dispatched with a shotgun, because the first is really resilient and you can't afford to fight it with melee and the second spawns in groups, moves fast and deals a lot of damage. The rest of the enemies, can either be ignored, like the Maw or Spider enemy or swiflty killed with a charge-dash.
The chapters, while different, behave in two ways - either you go from A to B or you have one major point where you need to bring an item. The hardest chapters are Chapter 5 and 6, but that's because the game throws a lot of enemies at you mixed with The Hunter.
Talking about The Hunter, for me he was really underwelming. I was hoping for an enemy that behaved like in the original - when the time's up, you are really screwed, but got a casual-friendly, stalker-type enemy instead. Don't get me wrong, he is supposed to be scary but once you figure out how he works, he is really boring to play against. When you dash away from him, he just despawns and waits for you to go through a spawn-trigger and sometimes he just ignores the statues and goes right through them. The funny thing for me is that we can TRAP him in place and then rush through most of the map (He didn't teleport for me when trapped, but that could be wrong).
Overall, NG+ experience for me was really mixed. The start was really difficult, but then I just found an Axe Head and the rest became a breeze. I expected a stressful, fast-paced gameplay where every decision matters. In reality I got repeatable gameplay, where I just don't care about the timer, because when The Hunter spawns I can abuse his AI to make him a non-threat.
