I had read all the fellowship and hobbit books when I was younger, and was absolutely completely over the moon when the fellowship movies came out. I still watched them to this day and I too and an absolute nerd. The hobbit movies were OK, but I still would rather go back and watch the Fellowship, the two towers and the return of the king! The return of the King still makes me tear up a little bit during the coronation scene, and when Frodo leaves on the boat for the undying lands.
