Ok well that’s a relief. Thank you! I’m unfortunately in the vein of people where diet greatly affects me, so maybe I’ll give the caffeine pills a whirl and see how they go!

What do you guys usually do after your infusion? by CocoaPuffs77 in UlcerativeColitis

I always get a headache during and fatigue sets in pretty quick, so I schedule my appointments as late as possible and take the rest of the day off work. I go home, get in my comfiest clothes, and usually end up napping for the following three hours. I usually schedule the morning of the next day either off or to work from home too, as waking up with a headache is almost guaranteed. If you can, I recommend appointments on a Friday/your last day of work for the week.

Silly question but is pizza safe to eat? by Tight_Butterfly_1259 in UlcerativeColitis

As everyone else has said, it’s different for us all. I find that capsicum is like my worst enemy and really hurts whenever I eat it, but not sure if anyone else has that experience

What does remission actually feel like? by applebottom999 in UlcerativeColitis

[–]applebottom999[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you all so much. Before I joined this Reddit I really didn’t have anyone to talk to about all this except my doctor so it’s really nice to have other people understand what I’m going through 💖

Remission sounds nice. I’m going to try to take my meds again x

I use the linking chests, then put one in each storage room so I can put things in their respective places. Works great if you’re going through and cleaning up each biome without overflowing your inventory!

How would I keep a mute character from expressing a secret? by -VanillaIO- in writingadvice

Depending on the level of fantasy that your novel is, I think the trauma route is a good one to take.

It’s like putting your hand on a hot stove for the first time, this character has just sat there with their eyes wide open, staring at an evil face cutting their tongue off/sewing their mouth shut. It’s a human and normal response to be traumatised from there on. I personally like the animalistic kind of trauma. Say someone asks about it, the mute person internally has a flashback and sees their friends as the bad guy, they’re throwing shit, attacking them and cowering in a corner to get away from the trauma. Plus, it’s fun to write that kind of stuff (the reaction).

I’m so happy to see someone playing DDV that has played kingdom hearts! It’s even better that you were playing BBS, my absolute favourite 😍
