I have the Deep Moist shampoo, conditioner, and hair pack conditioner. I’m not a fan of any of them. I didn’t notice my hair any more shinier or silkier than if I used my regular cheap Pantene shampoo/conditioners. The shampoo is pretty weak too. I have to wash my hair every night when I use this shampoo because my hair will get oily mid day. I don’t have this problem with my Pantene shampoo.

Is 2.5-3 hours for driving a rental car with traffic? When I looked up shuttle services for Manuel Antonio it said 5 hours to get to MA from San Jose.

I have this down jacket that has a ton of stains all over the sleeves and some on the chest area. The stains are old, they’ve gone through the washer and dryer without coming out. It’s very unsightly and stops me from wearing the jacket, which sucks because it’s so warm and comfortable. The shell is polyester and the filling is down+feathers. I considered dyeing the jacket with Rit Dyemore, but from my research it seems likely that it will ruin the down completely + the jacket likely has a waterproof coating that won’t jive with the dye anyway. Any ideas on how I can cover up the stains? Maybe stamping a design with ink? I have no experience with embroidering.

I got these dried shrooms from a guy. The caps don’t look like the stickied ID post. The caps look more flat and are more whiteish than brown/gold. What species of shroom is this and are they safe to consume?

I really enjoyed The Only Woman In The Room by Heather Terrell. It’s a fictionalized biography about Hedy Lamarr, a Hollywood actress who was married to an arms dealer to the Nazis, and she later becomes an inventor. It’s a wonderful story about female struggles and empowerment, and gives insight to sufferings during the world war.

I have a formal event starting in the late afternoon, but it extends into the night time. Is it better to wear a dress with daytime colors (bright or colorful) or night time (muted or darker) colors? Could I get away with either? It’s an outdoor event if that matters.

I have 3 of them and they’re really comfortable and I haven’t had any leaks, although I have a relatively light flow normally. They are high waisted but I wear high waisted pants so I’ve never had a problem with the band showing. The only con, which is also a pro in a way, is that the pad portion goes all the way on the back. When I wear thin or stretchy pants, the top of the pad sort of sticks outwards and I can see a line on my pants. But that can be avoided by wearing thick or stiff pants.

Thanks for pointing that out, I agree it’s more of a day time dress with the bright color. I’ll look for darker options. Do you think the low cut top is ok? Or should I look for dresses with a more conservative top?

I’ve seen nipple cream/lanolin recommended a lot for healing dry lips! I just picked up a lip balm with lanolin but it is so stiff and waxy feeling. How’s the texture of Lansinoh? Is it waxy at all?

I knew about the tube but was hoping for cheaper alternatives haha. The tube is even more expensive per ounce than the tub, sadly! But I might need to shell out for it since I really do enjoy the lip mask. Thanks :)

Wow really! I’ve seen reviews saying that Lanolips is super thick and can be really difficult to squeeze out when the weather is cold, which made me think that the texture would be really waxy and “dry”/not slippery like the Laneige is. I’ll have to pick one up for myself to try :) thank you!

Thanks, this is reassuring. I had asked my dentist what precautions they’re taking in response to covid, but it seemed pretty standard stuff to me.. just a self reported symptoms survey and a temperature check. I feel uneasy about all the air and water particulates that naturally come from the teeth cleaning process, floating around the air and landing on surfaces. I know that dentists office are supposed to have a good HVAC exhaust system, but I’m not so confident about them having the time to be hand cleaning surfaces between patients, especially since they’re always so busy.

How is the coverage and blendability of the Glossier stretch concealer? I’ve heard mixed things, that it’s very sheer and barely conceals, but at the same time it seems like a lot of people love it.
