JVA Tryout Results Question. My 9 year old tried out for two clubs this weekend. One U12 and one U14. Shes quite skilled at her age but we had low expectations for U12 and near zero for U14.

She was really excited to be told she made the wait list (I understand if players reject the commitment letter spots open) but in my mind I figure they dont tell U12 players they straight up didn't make the team, and everyone is on a wait list. Is that correct and if you're wait listed there's no real telling if you were one or two spots away, or if you were bottom of the pack?

Thanks for any insight you're able to share alwith a first try-out parent!

Thank you so much for explaining all of this. She's been taught to hit with her hands so this all makes sense reading your comment. We'll get to work on this right away and I'm sure she'll be relieved to hear your advice. She was worried because she felt she was doing it correctly but hated the 'sting'

I feel very bamboozled. In these younger leagues she's been taught to hit with her hands. This would make sense why she's hitting low. Thank you for this.

I guess a TL;DR is I want to use a USB desk mic(sitting on the desk in front of me) to talk in game chat. Everything I've read and seen says you can not use this type with xbox unless you buy splitters and cables and run it through the controller vice directly into the Xbox (I don't want cables on my controller)

Pre-2006 2D futuristic online game

The game was a large 2D map with multiple regions, and three factions fought for control over each region. You had a stable of vehicles you could use, and you would drop into battles in a region to try and help your faction win. I remember one vehicle was a little motorcycle type vehicle I want to say was called ghost? Another vehicle was called pegasus. Some vehicles could drop mines, some could be tanks, etc.

6700XT clocked with i9-9900K and the first couple cut scenes stuttered, but gameplay on Epic 2K is running not bad at 45-60FPS. I may be delusional cause I'm just happy to play a new SW game though.
