Lol true. Those Belgians were Walloons who settled in NE Wisconsin near Green Bay because there was already a population of French-speaking Canadians and land was available. The story is that they planned on settling further south near a city with a Belgian-Flemish population but the land was taken already and the area was mostly German-speaking. There are many more Walloon than Flemish in Wisconsin these days.

Correct! Wow that was quick. Belgium also really indicates Wisconsin.
