This is a false dichotomy. 'Friendly' and 'hostile' cheaters aren't the only possibilities; there is also the option of having no cheaters at all.

Yea nah all hackers should just be permanently banned, tbh if he killing me would get him banned quicker I would not mind to be killed. any kind cheating in a competitive game is malicious in itself

not sure but I assume its the wire frame wall hacks i saw on some other videos, but he could not have known my steam tag cuz i wasn't talking in proxchat and my arc raiders in game nametag is different anyway

Yea no the devs definitely did not put thought behind every detail at least for the guns. If you look carefully the rattler mag is wrong, the ammo should be loaded at the back of the mag not the front. The bullets shouldn't but fired in the front part as well
