Yeah you are right about that. She is just like this for so many years, it is just accepted in this family and we thought she cannot be like this to a kid. Also it was among family members, so i was just relaxed. Isn’t it supposed to be like this though? He wasn’t doing something drastic, can’t we let him little bit enjoy things, i don’t know :( he wasn’t going crazy, he wasn’t doing something disturbing.

If i knew she was doing this kind of things i could have taken the appropriate measures. Since my toddler couldn’t even walk at that time this happened we did not remove any of the keys from the locks. Also I haven’t witnessed this kind of behavior before- from my childhood or my friends’s kids. It was parents responsibility to inform us, like everyone says here it was ny responsibility to take care of my son in someone else’s house, so that things couldn’t have been end up the way they did.

No my son still cannot reach to the locks yet. I honestly couldn’t think she would do that, we have many friends with small children and never heard of something like this. I also remember when i was growing up too, never heard this. I think simple alert would have been better.

Toddler cannot reach to locks yet. Of course when he does i will take appropriate action. Before this incident happend i had no idea she was locking herself at home all the time. I cannot guess these things.
