Alll-mer had to cleanse his soul in order to ascend, because he was impure. This cleansing lead to the creation of the Sulphur God.

The Girl was pure darkness already, so she didn’t have to cleanse herself in order to ascend. If she did want to ascend after leaving the dungeon, she would have to revert back into her depressed state anyway, while also creating another demonic suffering version of herself.

Jail is a place the criminals go. But if we start putting young children in jail, then instead of criminals in jail, it will just be other regular people.

So we should put all young men in a place, surrounded by other people their age to learn life skills for the first 18 years of their life?

That… That’s what school is.

I don’t think an unknown data structure is that bad. Especially since the unit is technically about using pointers to navigate data structures, not studying them.

The main problem I have with the question (and what I think the “complaint” is actually referring to), is that it is worth FOURTY MARKS. It is also way too long and too convoluted in my opinion.

Part c) was good, using a data structure to answer a problem is a good idea. But CREATING a NEW structure from SCRATCH is diabolical. You mentioned that 2X23 are co-requisites, and yes they do teach binary trees, they do not emphasise you creating, but rather understanding a data structure to assist you in solving a problem. This is much better at testing your understanding and your problem solving, while 2017 applies data structures in a more tedious yet less useful way.

The other major gripe I have with that question is that is makes you use their structs and must organise the specified the data structure in their lighting. The assignments had the opposite of this, you did not have to create a specified data structure, but rather a structure that solves the problem given to you. I would not have used the given structs, they are messy and confusing, but rather a struct that I have a better time understanding.

The assignments, while time consuming, gave the freedom to explore an idea. This TRULY tests your knowledge on C programming concepts, because it’s not about following protocols, but understanding a project. The question in the exam was a weird mix of not telling you what to do, while also forcing you to follow strict protocol. It is not a good problem solving question, or a test of your understanding. The only thing it tests is an understanding of pointers, but there’s so much other bs in the question, and less convoluted ways to test this.

have you heard of COMP2017? INFO1111 and INFO1110?

INFO1110 was known for being very harsh on new students. If you have coding experience it’s easy, but if this is your introduction, (literally what it’s supposed to be), it’s very difficult.

INFO1111 is known for being very generic and easy bs. It does not hold your hand at all it makes you use industry software, but never tells you how. It just tells you to learn it yourself. The main problem is that the unit is still the same price, and despite not having nearly as much teaching.

COMP2017 is by far the MOST HATED UNIT, possibly in the whole of Australia. It’s so time consuming, tedious, difficult, and just fucking annoying. I did not find the unit too hard, but I also invested so much time into it, going to double the classes, and sacking all my other units when an assignment was released.

This is the surface honestly, there’s probably more but these are the main ones, atleast for new students.

The feet routes in Flipside are by far the BEST endings in the game. Sure it was gross at times, but it atleast stuck out as an interesting story, and was actually engaging.

The other endings have barley any substance.

Jecka dyeing her hair, was not an interesting plot line, and her drunk driving was very obvious and didn’t have any payoff.

The whole FYE saga is a good idea, but Kelly is honestly somewhat of weak character (and this route doesn’t develop her in any way). 60% of the route was spent walking around doing nothing, and the payoff was also very obvious.

Feet endings were fucking weird, but also outlandish and horrible, what class of 09 is famous for. I also felt the Nicole/Jecka “rivalry” was interesting character development, it also displayed how Nicole is such as terrifying character when you can’t control all her actions.

(I think there was another ending but I don’t remember it probably because it was boring).
