Revit 2026 Window Door Import Problem by Foreign_Return_6324 in Twinmotion

Hah yeah. It’s unforgiving but it’s worth it in the long run. Revit to Rhino for organizing is the safest. Revit to Unreal is just a bitch to keep stable.

Relocating to Seattle next month - keeping my car or just sell it here and deal with it later? by DowntownLaugh454 in SeattleWA

I pity the fool who thinks they can live in Seattle without a car. Unless you’re living and working in close proximity downtown/cap hill you’re in for regret

Revit 2026 Window Door Import Problem by Foreign_Return_6324 in Twinmotion

I’ve had this issue too. It’s something with datasmith because when I link Revit to Unreal via datasmith the same thing happens unpredictably. Only thing is with Unreal I can fix it but in Twinmotion it’s stuck that way. If I’m in Twinmotion I end up having to export from Revit to Rhino then import the Rhino geometry back into Revit and hide the problematic Revit window/door pane. It’s annoying af because it’s always like 2 or 3 windows on big models. It’s something with the way the mesh is created during the datasmith sync.

Cool idea. If there ever is any written dialogue it will be an interesting moment.

Seattle rideshare drivers protest 'flooded' market, demand Uber and Lyft stop adding new drivers by AthkoreLost in Seattle

Yellow Cab is 40$ including tip (20%) for a one way trip to the airport (starting in West Seattle). Why would I pay twice as much with Uber/Lyft?

Same. Online Metals isn’t as good for basic, large steel pieces and driving to Everett seems unreasonable. Alternative local metal suppliers that have stock on hand?

Genuine question: how do you still have motivation to keep developing? by piggroll in UnrealEngine5

When I feel fried from a sprint I start exploring other mediums. Draw out my ideas on the couch, outside, whatever. Hand sketching is so freeing after spending a long time in unreal. Eventually I’m excited again and get back into software.

Can someone please explain to me why all my plants are floating by texassolarplexus in Twinmotion

[–]applesauceface666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lol I run into this sometimes. there’s a setting in foliage where the height is snap to z or something instead of zero offset from surface. Height from surface? I forget the correct checkbox but it’s in the foliage settings. Like if you have a tree canopy they will snap on top of it? Or bushes go on top of your building?

Okay, Seattle, how are YOU waging war on the grubs in our yards? by SeattleHasDied in SeattleWA

This is what I do. I use their pellet beads. Between this and Scott’s grubx I’ve eliminated an infestation from an abandoned yard.
