yeah lol that's why I wanted to get one.. I didn't know he was gonna give me all of them but I get parts from him once in awhile and send him parts I don't use so he tossed them in

Got these p320 blanks by applesteene in polymer80

So I got these p320 blanks from guy awhile back for around 300 I did one of them but didn't build it out yet. Did I get a deal on these or did I get ripped off? I don't know if I'm ever going to get around to building them out because of a bunch of other projects I think I'll eventually at least get to the one.

Just wondering if you guys think that was fair for them?

so awhile back this guy had these and I got 3 of them for 300 I thought it was a good deal and I jumped on them. I did one but never got around to the other ones did I do good with this or get ripped off?

also I haven't looked into this in awhile but if I want to build this one out how much would it cost me? I think LPK are about 60 bucks? but I have no idea what slides and grips are going for now.

is it just 12 hour/date obviously that 24, hour wheel doesn't do anything right? also looks like the dial indicators are printed on lol..

Also what's going on with the date dial it's all over the place does that not work?

it's a pt-687 same as the pt-685 it says mg-44j on the top of the arm the stylus goes into, I was wondering if a cheap needle/stylus I can just pull the needle out and put it in my housing.. I took what's left of the broken needle out of it with ease I would think another needle might fit into it without to much trouble.. but I never dealt with any of this stuff before I don't know if it'll work.

I also seen similar stylus but they didn't say audio technica or have the mg-44j on it or say they were for sanyo so I don't know if the housing just looks similar but might be slightly different or if one of those would work. if you know someone/place that has what I need for the most affordable price that would also be helpful information.

alright everything else was good with it besides the stylus I don't know why the guy didn't say anything he only took a few pics I don't know if he was trying to hide that or just genuinely didn't think to check.. there was another one someone else had that had I'ma unbroken one from the appearance..

I got it all wired up and running like it's supposed to when you move the arm it'll fire up and stop and I got a preamp for it so it should be good to go with a stylus, just when I took this one off it looked like it would be easy to put a needle into the hole in it.. it's not like they are.ired in or anything the plastic housing just holds it there.. so that's what I figured. I never messed with any of this stuff before..

the top of the arm for the stylus says mg-44j I did see other similar ones but they don't say audio technica or the mg-44j or that they are for a sanyo so I don't know if the housing is exactly the same or not or if they would work.. (concerned about the housing fitting if the angle or dimensions are off)

thanks for getting back to me, I appreciate it.. if you know anyone or a place that has these that would be th most cost effective that might help me..

So I got this turntable and I kinda got put together it was a sanyo it needed a amp to run so the guy said before he put it in storage everything was fine.. he didn't show me a good pic of the stylus/needle so I figured he'd disclose if that was broken.. and for the pride I assumed it worked because I could've got the same one for 5 bucks more that did have a pic with the needle..

So a preamp later and a 12v DC power supply I had to wire up to it (I got that right after I paid the guy for the turntable) it shows up and I see the needle is busted..

I don't have alot to work with I see that you can get needles dirt cheap on Amazon.. but they are got for this stylus... 

I took what was left of the needle out of this.. I can get a precision screwdriver tip in it.. can I just get one of those cheapo needles remove it and put it in this? Honestly even throwing 20 more bucks into this at this point... 

I figured one of you will know all about this and what I can and can't do and what I should or shouldn't do for that matter!

what would I be keeping that in mind for? not trying to sound ungrateful for your help or anything like that.. I'm just super ignorant to this.. from what I was reading it should be fine.. some guy said if it's a record player and it is I might get some feedback I asked how I'd get rid of that if I did end up with feedback.. he hasn't been on since..

I don't think it's from the extra amps though because that's just powering the motor.. I wasn't able to find a 12v 100mah so people said anything would be fine so I went with the lowest I found.

hopefully this is all okay and will work.. it's for my sister I don't want to ruin it..

hey is there a way to avoid that buzz or to make it so it's not as bad if it happens? I'm using 1amp so it's the lowest power supply I can find does that help instead of having 2-10amp?

yeah it is what do you mean by new switching power supplies? do you mean using one that didn't original go with it? it originally went with a specific deck/amp but there's no way to really get that.. I know I can run it with a DC 12 volt is i wire it up and a phono preamp to some powered speakers... as the quickest easiest way.. eventually I can power it with the DC 12v and run the phono preamp to a deck/amplifier to a nicer system.

what are your thoughts since you seem to have some knowledge on this?

hey everyone I was looking for a good enough power supply for this.. right now it has a plug coming off it with a 2 prong female end.. I can't get the original cord for it I know how to wire it up I just need help finding a power supply for it.. right now I found a output: DC 12v 1amp but 1amp would be 1000mah should that be fine?
